The plastic slip on extensions its comes with are absolutely worthless. They fall off immediately under the pressure pff the foam getting psih through. A small zip tie that I added only kept those extensions on for 3 seconds longer.Gun works well so far, and fits Great Stuff brand Pro containers. Their foam construction adhesive is a bit thicker and doesn’t seem to work great with it, but the Gaps and Cracks formula flows very well through it.I am using this in conjunction with 2” EPS foam to insulate my rim joists, and to close up my crawlspace vents. The extension pieces, besides falling off and being completely useless- were not nearly long enough of flexible enough to allow me to get into the spaces necessary. I attached about 20” of thick walled clear fuel hose to the end of the gun which is held on tight with a hose clamp. At the other end of the hose I pressure fit about a 3” length of 3/16” brass tube (i think that is the size, just some scrap I already had). The brass tube is more controllable for the end of the hose and has a much smaller outer diameter. This setup allows me to reach anywhere!You must also buy the gun cleaner cans, and make sure your thoroughly clean up after every single use, running it through all tubes until totally clear.

This gun was crap. The cheap extender straws don’t stay on the tip. They need to be locked in. Foam came out of trigger area and I had the can tight. In the garbage and a waste of time and money.

I wasn't sure it would fit the AKFIX cans, but YES it does. This gun worked perfectly well and it's well made, metal construction, probably aluminum. Anyway I was very happy with it.

You can't beat the value of this foam gun. Not only does it provide the same length (14") as the "longer" guns they sell in the hardware stores, but it's lighter weight and has MORE FEATURES. I know what you're thinking, if it's lighter weight, that must mean it's lower quality. It's essentially the same build quality—even if there might not be as much heavy metal, it's perfectly sturdy. It's not some junk that will bend while pushing the nozzle onto a surface. I used it to smash open drywall to clean up a hole I wanted to fill. On top of that, whatever coating they're putting on the metal parts does seem to also keep it cleaner than the plain steel.Sika rebrands the inferior version of this gun—which lacks the valve—and sells it for 2-4 times the price as what you can get it on this site! Think about that, a big brand is using this gun in their product line and is too cheap to even offer the version with the valve. While I will always support North American or European companies that provide objectively better products for an appropriate price, I will never support these brands which make massive amounts of money rebranding products from China, Korea, Turkey, etc and selling them for two to four times the price.I've purchased quite a few Chinese designed products this year; some to replace tools that broke (my Great Stuff foam gun), and some as a new product. While most have proven themselves to be well worth it (for the price, especially), this one is probably my absolute favourite purchase. It's simply a better product at a way better price. Another one from a handful of months ago was CA glue from CYAFIXED. These products are game changers.After writing this review, I was reminded of a video from Louis Rossmann where he compared US branded soldering stations to the Chinese ones. The US branded machines cost thousands of dollars, have no features, and have poorer operating specs compared to the Chinese model which is a few hundred dollars. I've seen the same myself over and over again with many products. The turn the markets have taken over the last 10-20 years is disgusting.

Issue with leakage with the correct bottle. Product works fine. Do not recommend using when in small spaces like joists or ceilings if insulating basement. I believe it’s a good product but for my use case it wasn’t worth the money

I bought this one after I accidentally ruined my Advantech applicator by leaving a can in it for a long period of time, I didn't feel like spending another $80 so I gave this one a shot. The Advantech one is nicer, but definitely not 4 times nicer. This one does just fine, very easy to dial in volumes, cleans up nice, can fits fine. Only gripe I have is the tip is designed to put plastic applicator ends onto which I didn't want to use, and without them the foam sometimes gets caught up on the end. Overall given the price I'm very happy with it.
