Great sleek iron been using it for many projects here recently. All the tips it came with are fantastic and solder very well. Pretty powerful device that gets hot fast, very easy to carry around but if using it while on the go you'll want to keep an eye on the your power brick to ensure it will actually keep your iron hot. I'm not the best at soldering but I'm still able to solder these small things with it so came complain ultimately.

I really like the size and weight of this iron. It heats up very quickly and has lots of customizable settings. Being left-handed, I appreciate the ability to flip this display. For most of my soldering, I find that chisel tips work the best, since they are able to quickly heat the pad and the part at the same time. Despite coming with 6 tips - there were no chisels. The oval (some call it "horseshoe") tip does not have a well for easier drag soldering of SMD chips. I ordered 2 third-party chisels and an oval tip with a well to complete my kit.

I liked the design, fast to arrive to set temperature, the screen readout is clear, the three temperature presets, and the sleep function. The most important feature is that it works well. It is easy to use, and to place exactly where I need the solder. This is exactly what you are looking for in a field service application. The only wish I have is that the case was larger to fit the USB-C Power cube and the USB Cable inside.

I purchased this quite some time ago and only just now got around to using it.I like the accessories and storage. But, I do wish the charge base had been accommodated for in the storage.The iron heats up really quickly and cools down pretty quickly as well. The easy to change tips are a plus and I find myself looking for an excuse to change them out.The heavy duty power supply and bumped up wattage is the dealer maker for me.

Works VERY well. Heats up EXTREMELY FAST! 1st repair, re-attach ripped out iPods wire for friend. Wanted a small, lightweight, portable iron. This more than meets my needs.
