Worked for less than 6 months and now won't power the vacuum on normal mode for more than 20 seconds before dying. It was better than nothing, but I guess I will buy the OEM replacement next time, which lasted for 3+ years with the original purchase.

That is a great replacement battery and filters, they even include a screw driver to remove the battery.It fits just like the original and doesn’t hang up when installing the vacuum in the charging bracket.

Out of the. Ox it was clearly less capacity than the OEM battery. About 4 months in the battery life is SEVERELY less.UPDATE: phenomenal customer support, I was contacted right away and offered a full refund plus another new battery!

Installed very quickly, only three screws. Works much better after replacement of old, worn out original battery. Charges just fine, vacuum runs like it’s brand new! Length of run time extended back to normal and is probably longer than the original batter when it was new. Filters fit perfectly as well. This gave my 3.5 year old vacuum a new lease on life!

Make sure you order right battery for your Dyson model. I thought I had a V7 but I have a V8. This battery fits it perfectly. Very easy to install. They include a screwdriver and this one works great. Fits the screws well and is even slightly magnetic which helps on those small screws in tight places. I haven't had it long enough to judge longevity but it was charged straight out of the box. Yes, it hesitates for a split second when turned on but not long at all. Also includes both filters and a brush. A few years ago, I had a Dyson battery on a V7 die and all the company told me was no replacement was available. I bought a new V8 vacuum (discounted) and that's the one I'm using now. I just wish I had known about these replacement batteries then. Package came quickly.

This item saved me from having to purchase another "expensive" Dyson. The replacement battery is exactly as advertised. It is more powerful than the original which is awesome. A kit with a simple set of instructions came in along with the battery. Very easy to install, in less than 3 minutes or 5 minutes if you decide to use the brush cleaner that comes included. Thank you!
