The seals that come installed in the toilet get hard and bumpy over time and begin to leak.These are soft and smooth, seal well, and are easy to install.I have three toilets that use this gasket so I keep a set of two on handWho knows, maybe these will stay leak free for the duration?

These worked great for our canister flush toilet, fixed the leak etc. They fit perfectly although by measurement I was wondering how it would fit, but it fit like a glove and it was very easy to replace. Just remove the chain, screw the top gently counter clockwise, flip over and replace gasket seal, put back together gently, and enjoy your toilet leak free!

I bought a Kohler seal for one toilet and this because I have 2 toilets. I needed to fix one for the holidays so had to get one from Menards. I bought this because it's obviously cheaper and you get 2. They basically fit the same. Except, I did have to rearrange this one a couple of times to stop the slow leakage. Toilet kept needing to top off every 10 minutes. The material is a bit, I wouldn't say thinner, but it's more flexible than Kohler's. I almost had to use both, but after rearranging it a bit, it's working as it should now. Hoping it'll last. All in all, it's ok. I'm more disappointed with Kohler's toilet than this seal. Just trying to get by with less cost until replacing the toilets.
