Kit assembled well, using stock locations. Required hardware included. Sounds rumbly, but polite, never obnoxious or droning. Polished tips look sharp. Good value.

I finally found a 2012 5.7 hemi ram r/t regular cab! And a one owner at that! I even had some money left to do some personal touches like exhaust, after looking and listening to several systems and owning 2 flowmaster systems in the past I decided on this one and I love it! When I start it remotely I can hear the distinct deep growl in the driveway. It's great lol. It has a solid sweet rumble to it after idling down. My neighbors don't mind it at all and one guy is buying a similar FM system for his Chevy. There is no cabin drone at all out on the road and you will definitely hear it when you hit the pedal. It's a great add on to a hemi. I'm not sure on mileage as I've not checked it, but I can say those miles Ive had have been fun. Is it worth 750.00? I say hell yes!

I installed it myself. The installation was a breeze, although one of the tips didn't want to tighten down. It's a bad design with a flimsy bolt and nut, that won't seat. I took the truck to the muffler shop. They welded both of the tips on for 40 bucks. Definitely recommend you have the tips welded, so you don't watch them in your rear view mirror, flying down the highway

I installed this system in about 2 hours on my creeper truck on stands. (Having a cutoff tool to get the old system off helps). The connector pipe leaves nice room for adjustment, the muffler lined up to the pipes perfectly. Very adjustable to get it hanging right before clamping it all down. Fits into the OEM hangers, and easy to line up the chrome tips. I never give 5 stars ... but I came back from my first ride smiling. Great rumble on idle and roars when you stomp on it. Noticeable increase in power too!

If your looking for something loud this isn’t the exhaust for you. It sounds good and has a nice rumble when you get on it. But it sounded like it’d be much louder than it is unfortunately. There’s no cabin drone which is nice if that’s what you like. But at idle it basically sounds stock, maybe a tad louder. If you want that muscle sound you have to add long tubes. But I did pair it with a K&N CAI and my gas mileage increased noticeably. It’s a solid exhaust. If you’re looking at add a nice rumble when you accelerate and don’t want cabin drone this is for you.

Let's get the negative out of the way, the hangers on the last pipe sections required some creative bending for a good and centered look of the tips in the bumper.Quality of the kit and pipes is perfect. This is 409 SS (except for the tips which are polished 304 SS)so while it doesn't look pretty, it is the best material for an exhaust system.I painted the system with a high heat BBQ paint before installation, but it is not necessary, I did it for a cleaner look.All the parts go together easily and the clamps(also 304 SS) work as they should.Make sure to get the all the clamps in before attaching the pipes together. Line up everything and start tightening from the front towards the back while adjusting everything to get the tips lined up with the bumper, this is crucial for a good looking installation, but it won't affect function.I lined mine up as much as I could but the last hangers just didn't work with the proper alignment of the tips and were too low and off center with bumper cutouts.I removed the sections with the hangers(last hangers towards the back) and bent them so they would raise the pipe and center the tips . This might require some trial and error , but I got lucky and had it right on the first try.The sound on this system is hair raising, compared to the stock system. It sounds like a Hemi should , thundering was adapt. On the highway with the MDS on there's no drone and as quiet as the stock system surprisingly until you hit the gas that is...then it's thunder time.The truck seems to be a little peppier and I seem to be getting better mileage but that might be because you tend to not accelerate as aggressively when you can hear your engine better.

The reason I give this one star is because of the delivery of the product, not the product itself. I took the box to my local muffler shop to have it installed. When I got there, they cut off my stock system and started unpacking the new system. After opening the box we noticed that the foam that's supposed to hold everything in place had been previously broken. The mechanic advised me of it right away and we started taking out the parts. The muffler had a hold in it that looked like someone drilled in there and the exhaust tips had damage to them. At that point it was too late to put the stock back on since it was already cut off. The shop charged me an extra $250 just to repair the whole and clean out the muffler. It was obviously returned. Very disappointed with Amazon and their quality assurance. This item had either been defective or clearly returned by someone else as the mechanic thinks.

I have a similar American Thunder set on my 2005 and 2008 Ram. I bought this for my 2012. Price was substantially cheaper than Summit Racing, free shipping (no handling charge). Pipes are stainless steel (older versions were aluminized). Sound is great. Not so loud as to worry about a ticket, unless you live in an overly strict area. The system installs very quickly. I had one stock pipe stuck, so it took longer than the other two sets to install, but still accomplished in under an hour. WD-40 or Liquid wrench on the joints helps to remove your stock pipes, along with a dead blow hammer if necessary. You don't need to weld, as the clamps are top notch, but I put a couple of 1" tack welds at each joint. Definately weld on the tips so nobody steals them.

I love the sound of the product. The delivery of the product was extremely fsat. Unfortunately there was a key piece missing in the box..have to call Flowmaster to see if they will send it directly to my house. Overall, Amazon works great!!!
