Beautiful kit. Since it’s winter, it enticed me to pick up floral arrangements at the store just so I could begin. Already have a few dried out and they’re stunning. At first, I felt like the bolts were way too big. But once I started adding flower petals, I was happy that they were.

I ordered this flower press kit after my boyfriend gifted me this incredible & unique bouquet of flowers for my birthday. I've never pressed flowers before, so I was thankful to discover this kit and the detailed instructions included. There are many different directions to go in with this and it can suit a number of different needs or many smaller individual projects. The price is similar to other flower press kits on Amazon ($30 at the time of writing this review). So far, I love how this is working out so far and can't wait to press future bouquets into keepsakes! Highly recommended!

I don't know what is in the blotter paper that came with this flower press, but maybe it was the actual flowers. I have never experienced my flowers turning brown and sticking to the blotter paper. This made them fall apart when trying to remove them. The flowers were dry, but the paper was "sticky" feeling. So, I tried again with my blotter paper from another set and voila. Beautiful dried flowers in about a week. They didn't stick or discolor. The differences were only two; the paper and the bouquet of flowers from a different store. The press itself is nice, I have a bigger one that I use most of the time, but this is just bigger than a sheet of copy paper and the area to dry with is smaller than that. I got this to do small flowers with different thickness than what I use my larger press for. So, get good blotter paper or try this with fresh flowers. Nice press, not so nice provided blotter paper.

I was surprised by the pretty print on the top plate. It’s printed right onto the wood, with some of the grain showing through. It’s very pretty.This is my first press kit that did not come with moisture absorbing drying boards or blotting paper. It instead had cardboard to put between the layers. I dried some poinsettias for my first use of this set. They seem to be drying but just not as quickly as my kits that have a ziploc bag and the special drying boards.It’s very easy to tell how to use it, and the box looks nice enough to gift.

The picture frame that this press comes with is pretty cute, with little windows to display individual flowers you've pressed. The drying plates are cardboard, so they're not reusable. But by cutting new pieces of cardboard to size or adding by reusable drying plates, the press itself should last forever

I’ve never done any *true* flower pressing before, save for that old trick we’ve all done where you put a 4-leaf clover or a pretty leaf in a piece of wax paper inside a heavy book. But my toddler got super into flowers & gardening last summer, so I have a ton of dried flowers chilling all around my house. I thought this would be a nicer, and tidier way to store them.Being that I have no experience in this, I’m not sure I’m a *great* judge—but it does seem to be a very beginner friendly kit. It has concise yet in depth instructions (including pictures) and includes everything needed to press (what seems to me to be) a lot of flowers. I imagine that the weight of the press probably (at least slightly) affects the quality of the finished product, and this one seems to have some decent weight behind it.I particularly like the square frame it comes with that has an insert to allow for 9 separate specimens. It’s completely white, so I think that the colored flowers will ✨pop✨ nicely against the background & borders.It’s (basically) winter here currently, so no fresh flowers at the moment. But I’m excited to make a project out of this with my daughter after nature starts to come back to life!

This kit is so great. My daughter loves flowers and I have seen her tape them, after they’ve dried, into notebooks. On a whim, I ordered this flower press kit and she was so excited. It has many layers to place flowers into press. You could press a whole bouquet at once if you wanted. She has pressed one flower so far and it’s beautiful. The price is very affordable. The kit is pretty big. Which is good so you can press many flowers. The packaging is nice and there are instructions. My daughter found it easy to use and it pressed her flower well. It comes with the long screws for tightening the layers and is a complete kit with all you need to get a beautiful press!

.This is a nice little kit and comes well boxed and presented so that it would make a good gift for any age. It seems to be pretty well made.I press flowers to use in resin projects mostly. The 9 pane frame they include is a nice touch. I've never dried flowers to frame but I think I will have to try it now.
