The build quality of the sifter is very nice and it is very easy to use. I like that it is stainless steel. The color matches my kitchen. The durability is very sturdy. And the functionality is great as well. Would buy again.

I needed a new sifter & choose this one based off reviews. It does have a large capacity but it also has a fair amount of blow back when cranking the wire sifter. I had quite a bit of powdered sugar on my counter and on the handle of the sifter. The wire also seemed to catch on the wire mesh when turning the handle-I expected a smoother rotation.

This is a fine sifter that works smoothly. I like it, but wish I had ordered the 5-cup size. The 3-cup size is just small enough to be annoying.

Up until I bought this sifter, I had the kind of sifter that you need to squeeze the lever on the inside of the handle. I found that it took quite a long time to sift the flour. I have quite a bit of arthritis in my fingers. Yesterday was the first time that I used the hand crank model.Super results. In no time at all, I had sifted 2 cups of flour. It is a much better and faster way for me to sift baking ingredients for me.

I needed a sifter for a couple recipes and bought a squeeze handle one at a local store. It was awful and so tiring on my hands so I bought this crank handle sifter. It’s decently made and SOO much easier on my hands! The screens are small enough to break up any lumps and works well. Easy to clean.

I have not used product, it arrived out of shape, I guess this is due to the very cheap metal used. It looks fairly flimsy and unsure how long this productWill last. Great idea, but unfortunately the quality is questionable. Really light weight, and little confusedabout the reviews I read, not what I expected. I cannot comment on performance.

Here’s a quick pros and cons list before I get into the full review:PROS:- Sifts flour well- Comfortable to hold- The handle makes sifting a bit easier (no need to keep tapping the sides of the sifter, just have to turn the handle)- Easy to cleanCONS:- Handle is flimsy- I don’t fully trust it to not break- Can’t add too much flour at a time or it will spill out of the handle holes on the sides of the sifter- The turning whisk portion inside the cup sometimes gets stuck, causing flour to go flying out- Handle doesn’t turn smoothly and it makes a scratchy noise against the mesh when siftingI bought this sifter to use with flour that I grind myself, and so far it does a good job at ensuring that none of the larger pieces of wheat berries end up in the bowl. However, I have discovered a few issues that make it a bit more difficult to use than I was expecting. Firstly, if the cup is filled up to the handle portion, flour will actually spill out of the holes on the side where the handles are attached as the handle is being turned. Secondly, the handle itself feels very flimsy- I didn’t trust it to not break when I was turning it normally, so instead I ended up turning it as close to the cup as I could. Lastly, the biggest issue I encountered was that because the handle doesn’t turn smoothly, sometimes the whisk portion gets stuck when being turned and it causes the flour in the cup to go flying out, making a mess. The way I have found to prevent this is to only add a small amount of flour at a time instead of filling it up like I originally tried to do. This is a bit more time consuming, but it’s the only way I have found that (usually) prevents the flour from flying out and prevents it from spilling out of the handle holes.Overall, I think this sifter sifts just fine, but it has a few flaws that make the process a little bit trickier than I was expecting. If you’re someone who is okay with the flimsy handle and the thought of the occasional mess that may result from this sifter, then this sifter would work just fine for you.
