It looks good and has stayed stuck down for at least a few days now. It is softer then I would have expected, and I worry about things being moved over it damaging it. Will have to see how it hold up.

Surface prep is important. I cleaned the vinyl plank with alcohol to get a good surface to bond to. I trimmed the carpet edge evenly so no yarn nubbins were present. Carpet is slightly higher that the vinyl. Trimmed the strip to fit with the anvil shears shown in the pic to get a clean line.I placed the strip down and rubbed it down with my palm to gain adhesion. Then carefully put my one heel down it and let my 200# bear down it to seat it and moved it a few inches at a time across the entire width. So far so good. It’s not a high traffic area for us.I’ll try to report back in a year or so.Thought about using some construction adhesive like another reviewer mentioned using on the carpet side… but figured less may be more. Time will tell. The beige cream color worked well for our situation. And the price point is good.

I found the tape wasn't that sticky so the strip may not stay in place for long, time will tell.I also found the strip was too soft, if you happen to step on it the portion over the carpet it deforms and doesn't pop back to level.

Good transition. Matches our floor almost perfectly. Seems pretty tough. The only problem is the glue is really weak. I put some 3M two sided tape on both sides and rolled it down really hard. That thing is bullet proof now.

I had a lot of old glue I had to thoroughly scrape off with a tile scraper to make sure the surface was completely smooth. Once done I cleaned the area with isopropyl alcohol and allowed it to completely dry before applying trim piece. Lastly I applied some heat (you can use a blow dryer on highest setting) to ensure the best possible adhesion. Seems to have applied very well, though time will tell.It came rolled up so it's very flexible. To cut to size you just need a pair of regular scissors. If it unsticks over time, I plan on using No Nails by Lepage (construction adhesive) to re-glue it.For $20, and for thresholds of a (slightly) uneven height, this is an easy and attractive solution.

This product is terrible. First of all, it comes rolled up so you have to unroll it and wait a long time for it to relax or it will just curl up when you try to use it. Secondly, it does not stick at all. I installed it as directed and it's already peeling off one day later. 0/5 stars, just go to your local hardware store and get a transition strip made out of wood. I'm going to have to.

Gave it a 3 because I like the look and quality. But there is no way this will stick. You will have to nail or glue. No way around that

We have 3 cats and they started ripping at the carpet under our doors. I ordered these to match our floor (grey) and they worked perfectly. Cut them to size and stuck to our flooring without issue. Going on 6 months and they are still firmly in place! Would recommend for anyone with similar issues.

This worked great for our office area that we needed a transition strip. Easy to cut/customize to the width of the doorframe, and looks great!

This is working a lot better than I expected. Installed a few weeks ago and not lifting. The color match is great for the light wood floors of my old bungalow. I’m not handy but had no trouble installing. Was going to replace with real wood but now I’m not in a rush.

The color of the strips are of great color. The strip is durable but it does not stick well at all. All four areas I used the strip in had to be nailed down within 12 hours.
