This a great buy. You get a lot for the price. It works well but you have to make sure you angle it right while using it on wooden floors or else it’ll catch and you’ll gouge a chunk out of your floor.

I'm currently in the process of redoing the floor in my office, which entailed pulling up the old carpet, pad, tack strips, GLUE, etc. You noted glue was in all caps, well, that's because that's the hard part. It's thirty years old and hardened in place. The last time I did this sort of thing I did it with a short hand scraper. I was, in short, dumb. This time I got a little smarter, and got a this long handled scraper, plus a power sander though that's less help than you might think. The sander is good for the finish work, but this scraper takes off whole swaths of old glue and has been a life saver. It comes with 10 spare blades which may well see me through, but if not, they're reasonably priced. I heartily it to anyone trying to do a similar job.

If you're looking to use this for more than scraping walls, look for something else. The blades supplied dent easily. Also, the screws do not hold the blade in place well. The handle may be the only thing of quality about this item, but barely.

Used this on a floor project. Putting it together was kind of a pain but once it was assembled I was able to tear up the old stuck floor from the plywood. The pole is sturdy, I used it rough and it never bent. The blades however break quickly, but the upside is they give you replacement blades with it. I think it's worth getting.

This would be a growth tool...but the blade kept slipping out no matter what I did to keep it in. I bought this long handled scraper so I wouldn't have to get on my hands and knees with a regular one. If the blade would just stay in it would be 5 stars.

This dcraper helped me stripped a 247sq ft without changing the blade. It comed with additional blades and gloves. Exactly as advertise. Please not that the blade is not big, i though the bottom of the scrapper was going to be bigger. Once received i was concern and was unsure if it was going to do the job, for my suprice its a powerful tool.
