Just what was needed. Looks better and the cord is no longer a tripping hazard. Even the vacuum can go over it and it doesn’t budge. Easy to use and easy to cut to size.

product worked great to hide 4 seats of speaker wire and got a color close to make flooring . Didn't even have to remove sticky back film to adhere to floor once laid out . it flattened out with have to stick to floor .

This worked just great for concealing the nest of cords that resulted from buying two new chairs. The match of the rubbery plastic to the woodwork was uncanny and completely unexpected. The "tubing" cuts fairly easily with a standard box cutter knife. However, slicing into the side edges was a bit more difficult due to the thicker material. The adhesive on the bottom appears to hold well onto the carpeting beneath it, but I haven't tugged on it to see for certain, since the location won't be disturbed.My only complaint was flattening out the strip. It comes rolled up circularly and takes time to actually get it flat. I layed it out lengthwise on the floor, weighted it down with books and, after a few days, it would remain flat and not curl back up. It simply took time and, to be honest, how else could it have been shipped? Just don't expect to lay it down the same day you receive it.On the whole, I'm very pleased and would purchase the product again if needed.

This seemed like a great idea but it wouldn’t stay adhered to the floor. I will have to return and try something else

Love this cord cover. It matches my hardwood floors and hides my extension cords. It’s easy to use and is very tough. It’s just the right size and the cost is on point. Good product!

Enfin un cache cordon discret pour plancher de bois. Le protège-câble est assez haut et large pour plusieurs fils, tout en restant discret et plat. On ne se prend jamais les pieds dedans.

We used this to hide a cord that went under a doorway. Amazingly it matched the floor color to a "t", so it ended up looking like trim. We had enough space under the door so that was no issue. The longest part of the installation was stuffing the cord through the bottom. The self adhesive went down securely. I would suggest washing and drying the area to make sure it sticks well. I feel that both people are safe from tripping, and the cord is protected from damage. Plus, it looks tidy! Great idea for a product, and one I didn't even know I needed until I did!

I needed to run a long, heavy extension cord around our stone entryway at our front door to put our Christmas tree a few feet away from the door where there is no outlet. Nothing worked on the rough stone floor in our entryway, and mats just created tripping hazards because of the roughness. In desperation, I tried this. It works BEAUTIFULLY! I spent some time bending and shaping the cord into the exact shape I needed it to follow, then popped it into the cord hider, mitered the corners when I reached the end of each side with a quick snip of large scissors. I was worried that the adhesive wouldn't stick on the rough stone floor, so I had some heavy weights ready, stuck it to the floor and quickly put the weights all around it to hold it down. I left the weights there for one day, and it's PERFECT! We walk all over it, I vacuum it regularly, no one has ever tripped on it, since it's snuggled right up to the edge of the carpet and has a lower profile than the carpet edge. Plus my husband couldn't even tell that I had done anything! We have a gray carpet and gray stone, so the gray cord hider blends right in. I'm going to store it for every Christmas from now on and just buy more double-sided thin adhesive tape to put on it each year. I can't believe I found such an easy solution!

The self adhesive works well and holds it in place. I only stripped off small sections as I didn't want to seal the whole thing down, and those small sections are keeping it in place. The color is nice, slightly darker and more grey than my flooring but it still blends in well. I was honestly not expecting to have to slice open the bottom section on my own, I figured it would have been done already. That was the hardest part as it kept wanting to curl back up as I was trying to cut it open.
