Not much you can say about an escutchion. It fits the pipe or it doesn't. This one opens and closes properly and fits well.

Toilet Valve went and then shutoff valve leaked when I tried to shut the water off. Replaced the shutoff with a 1/2" to 3/8" sharkbite that I think will last longer than the previous cheap shutoff. Looking for a way to make it look neat once it was done. These flanges did the trick as shown in the picture. I ordered a few because all of these thin flanges seem to rust a bit over time. If that happens, I'll toss the old one and put a new one on. Simple to install and described sizes were right on.

I had feeds to my radiators in my 1908 balloon frame home replaced, they each had ¾" copper pipes feeding them. These escutcheons were absolutely perfect in fit and style. I purchased some #8, ¾ inch slotted screws and screwed them against the floor (or wall, depending on where the feed came in), and they look and feel rock solid and have a really nice chrome mirror finish. I highly recommend them.

It looks good and it is easy to install but it is way bigger that it looks in the pictures., make sure pay more attention to the dimensions.

TLDR: Reasonably well made for the purpose, but mounting them can be risky.These "plate covers" are a good metal product made reasonably well for the purpose. They latch close well enough, though a slightly better latching would make mounting them easier (they are likely to fall open if bumped during installation).Here's the catch: mounting is more difficult than you might imagine. First, they don't come with screws or anchors. In most cases you'll be mounting these into dry wall. So, I found some small screw and plastic anchor pairs I already owned, and then started to drill the first anchor into place. A half inch in I unexpectedly hit some resistance, and decided I needed to think about this more before proceeding. It occurred to me that I am drilling right next to the water line I am trying to mount this cover around, and if I drilled into a water line behind the wall ... that would be bad (and messy and time consuming and/or expensive to fix). Ultimately, I ended up using smaller self-driving screws without anchors, They held well enough to keep each plate in place (without any worry of piercing a line). Not great, but good enough, and the end result was visually appealing. It occurs to me that mounting these plates is inherently problematic, and I will think carefully before buying them again.By the way, it took me a while to find these through searches, as they are more precisely known as "escutcheons" -- who knew?

Best fit I could find for 1-inch copper pipe I have supplying a radiator. Fits on the 1-inch copper pipe. I used a 1 1/4-inch escutcheon to cover a 90-degree fitting.
