Every single threaded hole is crooked. If you're trying to hang a vertical threaded rod, it is impossible. Completely useless.

Several of these were warped and do not sit flat. I did not realize until I had already painted one, so I couldn't return.

So easy to use, for a non-carpenter -- a weekend DIY'r it was a great help. I couldn't find a comparable ceiling plate at any hardware store. Read 3 out of 6 bad reviews...but, ordered them anyway. Glad I did, they were perfect. Fit the 1/2" threaded rods with NO issues, used #12 screws as suggested to screw into the beams...and in no time at all had my shed shelving supported. I even tested by using my entire weight (around 180lbs) and not a budge!!! Super item, don't hesitate to use or buy these.So glad I found these!!! Can't say enough good about them!!!
