It is definitely not fancy and could probably do with a seal in the cap. But this thing is wide enough for even my biggest project and the length is ever bit as useful.

Not sure what all the complaining is about that "there's a learning curve" or that "you need to figure out how it works". Thing was simple and easy to use and keeps my things protected and neatly stored. Definitely worth the $35.

The only problem is that it doesn’t have a button or anything to fix its length to your poster. So you need to watch it carefully all the time not to shrink and bend/cut the poster’s edges. Everything else is good.

This poster container is the real deal. I traveled via airplane with a gigantic 52” poster. The container is adjustable, though it takes a few tries to understand how to slide and lock the container once you’ve adjusted the height. It has a short handle to carry the poster like a briefcase, and it has a long handle to carry the poster over your shoulder. It also (barely) fit into an overhead bin on an airplane. It is waterproof and fairly sturdy.

I haven't had this for too long yet, but so far it's survived several trips back and forth to life drawing class. I have gone to nearly every art store in the city looking for a drafting tube to carry paper that I can wear over my shoulder. It seems like a simple concept but I went through 3 tubes and each one broke rendering it useless. So far this one is solid and hasn't broken, so even though it's pricey I'm hoping it was worth it. Time will tell.
