Falls apart very easily. Straps had to be screwed in place so they wouldn’t fall offHandle had to also be screwed in place to keep it on the tub

This was a great find. I was looking for a drawing transport storage tube that would fit my needs. I found the 5.5" O.D. / 5.0" I.D. Telescoping Storage Tube from U.S. Art Supply. This is perfect for transporting large drawings, posters, or Art pieces of all sizes. Note: Since this tube is only "water resistant", I recommend keeping the plastic sheathing that came with the Tube (it might come in handy in the rain).Product arrived in perfect condition and on time. Bought this, and the DT-118, to consolidate and store a large rolled poster collection. (I got tired of all the cardboard tubes.) These seem sturdy enough to me. I like the monochromatic look. And these two should hold a lot of posters. Happy overall.I wouldn't mind if they 'locked' a little more securely. They have tabs/teeth to hold the tube to the selected height. And I'm a little bit worried that, If they get jostled/twisted, and pressure is then applied to the ends, they could collapse and crush the contents. These will be stored in a safe place. But if I ever need to move/travel with them, I'll keep a lightweight dowel rod inside, just in case

Believe it or not, I bought this storage tube to hold my "travel violin." I own a Cricket Acoustic/Electric violin from MagicFluke. With the chin rest and shoulder support off the violin, the entire thing fits down this tube. I use a drawstring sack to hold my tuner, rosin and mute. Tube is well constructed, water-tight (but not proof). Greta for putting in the overhead bins on airplanes.
