About this item

  • NOTE: The axle length is 71" which is longer than the 4x4 ft deck. Please make sure the beam is of sufficient length. Fits 12", 16" or 24" ceiling joist spacing. The maximum lifting range is 79", and the suitable ceiling height is less than 9 feet.“The wire deck rises to its highest point, approximately 10in from the ceiling."
  • LIFTING DESIGN: With the included hand crank or power drill (not included), you can easily raise and lower the garage storage rack, eliminating the need for a ladder.
  • STRONG AND SAFE: The double rope design offers extra safety compared to a single rope. The pressure-rivet design ensures a secure connection, preventing any risk of the shelf falling. Additionally, a specially designed safety lock keeps it firmly in place when not in use.
  • HIGH QUALITY: Constructed with heavy-duty steel and premium hardware, it is designed to support a maximum load capacity of 300 lbs. Rigorously tested for safety and durability, it ensures long-lasting performance.
  • 4X4 FT SPACE: Make the most of your garage's 4x4 ft space with the lifting storage rack. It offers a perfect solution to store seasonal and unused items.
  • We provide an installation template as well as paper and video instructions to assist you with a quick setup. If you have any questions, our professional customer service team is available to assist you 24/7.

  • No, it cannot. The shelving unit would tilt, posing a risk of items falling.

  • The ceiling should be constructed of wooden beams or concrete. If wooden beams, the appropriate beam spacing is 12/16/24 inches. And the length of the axle is 71”, please make sure the beam is of sufficient length.

  • We sincerely recommend ceilings not exceeding 9 feet. The maximum length of the pole used for raising or lowering the deck is 4 feet, so if the ceiling is higher than 9 feet, you may need to stand on a ladder to reach the pole.

  • Please ensure the following four points during installation: Was it installed using installation template? Is the ceiling level? Is the installation distance correct? Is the direction of the rotating handle correct?

  • If the rope passes through the axle from below, it indicates an incorrect rotation direction of the pole. Please lower the wire deck to its lowest position and rotate the winding pole COUNTERCLOCKWISE to raise the deck.

Great product! Easy to install, and I'm impressed by the heavy-duty construction of the shelves. Very efficient product that is perfect value for its size. The storage shelves are more durable than I expected and definitely help to make more room for storing things in a cluttered garage and free up floor space. Exactly what I needed. Highly recommended!

Garbage. Pain to put up. Doesn’t hang level. Do not buy.

Not hard for one person to install. Had some trouble when winding it up, the cables/wire ropes didn't roll up right. Installation cardboard was hard to install to ceiling.

Took some work to put it up, but I'm pleased with the result. The lift works well and using a power drill with it is quite effective. The winch has a brake that can be locked using the provided shaft, which gives me a measure of confidence.Given the build, this platform seems quite sturdy for the rated weight.

There are some finer points of the installation that determine whether this will be perfectly level and how well it will operate. The template can be used to show the attachment points, or you can use a tape measure. It’s just 4 contact points. There’s a certain way that the cables need to be organized before attaching and tightening everything down. Again, not hard, but I could see how not doing it could be problematic. I wouldn’t try to install this if you don’t consider yourself at least moderately handy, have an impact to drill holes and screw in bolts, and a neck for lots of overhead work.

I bought this product to hang from the ceiling joists of my garage. I use it to store a large Curt hitch carrier and a large Yakima four bike carrier. Pros. It does work. Cons. It is virtually impossible to get it level. The hanging template for installation is hard to use, its main drawback being that it is too flimsy. I can see how the template would work better for a dry-walled ceiling where you can tape it more securely. It does not work well for an open joist ceiling. You will end up stapling or screwing it in place and it won't quit be right--a little sag. The instructions say that your joists must be 48 inches on center. Mine are but the platform is not level. I would say it has close to a three to four inch list side to side. It seems that the main problem with leveling is how the cords actually wrap around the axle and that on an open joist ceiling it is hard to get the template perfect. I would work better is there were guides for the cords when they wrap around the axle and the template was able to be securely fastened and less flimsy. The other problem is the mesh platform. It could be heavier duty, but works. I put OSB on mine to firm it up a bit. Like I said, it works, kind of. Would I recommend it. Yes, but with caveats. For what I use mine for, the price was right and I have a convenient place to store two very bulky items, and for that I can ignore the annoyances. An added note: you will want a drill to move it up and down. Hand cranking it takes a while.

Your drill will do the trick to raise and lower this rack. Absolutely works awesome. I don't know what I would do without finding this extra storage space. Super sturdy and strong.

My buddy bought something similar for 4x the cost and I think this is the same. Easy to install and sturdy despite the simple design. Using the crank by hand would take a long time with the pulley system, but using the cordless drill chuck on high speed as it is also designed will have it up and down 8 feet in about 10 seconds.
