It didn't really work on the fleas, but it did work well for getting the flea dirt and tangles out the stray cats fur.

This did the trick! For only $3, this comb helped me rid the cats of fleas. I used it with a bowl of hot, soapy water. I'd dip it in that mixture, comb through a section of my cat's fur, rinse, and repeat. The metal teeth on the comb were sturdy and it combed smoothly, without snagging my cats' fur. It helped remove excess loose hair, too.

Comb works perfectly. The handle makes it easy to handle. The only thing was the first two teeth are to close together so it tends to pull a little fur out. Just a defect I suppose, but not worth sending back.

This is a perfectly fine flea comb for our short haired 6 month old kitty. Her fur is very soft right now, so it's nice to use just to comb through her hair. As she ages, her fur may change making this useful only for flea checking/removal. She's an indoor cat, so I didn't want to spend a lot on something we'll rarely need. P.S. the pink is a pretty Barbie pink.
