I bought this to just keep in the garage just in case I spilled oil. I do my own oil changes so spilled oil is just a thing sometimes. One day a messed up the position of the drain pan and oil went everywhere. I grabbed this and sprinkled it around and it worked perfectly. The oil was soaked up and all I had to do was sweep it up and bag it for disposal. Great value for the money and I’d buy it again when needed.

Works great for any spill. I use it on my flat top grease trap and clean up with it.

This absorbent does soak up spills, however, don't expect miracles or an economical solution. I found that for oil spills, it gets the liquid up for the most part, but I still had to use another oil remover solution to get the oil outline from the concrete floor. If I truly had a large spill, this would not last very long and I suppose it would be worth it to secure a large spill from intruding into an area that would cause more damage in your garage or workshop. I like having it on hand for a quick addressing of a spill rather than grabbing paper towels, but honestly, I don't find the cleanup necessarily faster. With the cost for so little product, I would really give this a 3.5, if I were able to do partials. Hope that helps you today.

DON'T PAY FOR THIS JUNK! Overpriced Dirt is all this is. No absorbency, Makes a dusty mess. STICKS to the liquid doesn't absorb! Took a broom and a shop vac to get it up after letting it sit on gas/brake fluid overnight. Odor still there. Boy do I feel screwed!! Also, a bit of false advertising, this is a tiny bruck of junk for 19.00!To heck with this "organic" crap! It's "worm bedding"!! Stick with good old "Oil Dry" or Zep. Clay cat litter does better!
