They seem to be so slow with data transfer that I can't use them for bootable drives for computer repair tools, which is what I bought them for. The computer doesn't recognize them pre-Windows boot. Cheaply made. Would not buy these again.

I never give bad reviews! But I'm obligated to help people avoid insanity. I wasted days trying to install Windows from 3 of these. I'm a lifer in IT. These drives would freeze up as Rufus (installs bootable ISO's to USB) loaded an ISO. I was about to tell my friend his PC had USB bus issues. But as a last ditch I tried a SAMSUNG BAR Plus 256GB, the tiny little silver one. Worked flawlessly first try. When the Deekoo drives did work, simply for file transfer, they were sooo slow and would stop mid transfer. Life is too precious to waste!

Bought these to share photos. Transfer of about 2GB photos took less than 5 minutes. No issues. However, 2 out of 5 thumb drives (blue, black) had no red light or was very faint light showing it's processing/accessing data. The other colored thumb drives (green, red, purple) have the red flashing light. This is why I took one star away.

I buy a pack of these every year or so to transfer digital photos to family members instead of printing them out to show and share. I sound cheap, er, I mean frugal for this but here goes: I save money by letting them pick and print or pay for prints they choose themselves, a real bonus for me. These have tons of storage, the speed is very good for transferring, and the price for five is great. I make one for myself and I've assigned one of each color to the rest of my family.
