Why is Glute Activation Important?

Anytime you are sitting in the office, at home watching TV, or in the car while travelling, your glute muscles "sleep". You would need time to switch them on and get them ready for your training. Activating your glutes prior to exercising or lifting can help "wake up" dormant glute muscles.

Without activating your gluteus muscles first, they remain weak and dormant and thus, other dominant muscle groups (like hamstrings, quads) may do the work when executing booty exercises. Glute activation helps spark the mind-muscle connection you need in order to engage the correct glute muscles when doing certain moves so they are ready to work. This will help you specifically strengthen, tone and build your glutes.

I use it to do resistance walking but the material feels too plastic like and stiff and the edges cut into the flesh with socks on.

Bands have great quality. Provide more comfort over the elastic bands as they do not roll. They have 3 resistance sizes you can choose from for your workout.

First of all, let me say I already owned two other Hip Bands so I really didn’t need this set of Hip Bands, but the deal offered was too good to pass up.With that said this did allow me the opportunity to compare this set to my other two bands and possibly fill in the huge gap between my resistance levels (Very High & Light)They are well made, comfortable bands, you don’t have to worry about them rolling up, pinching the skin while using them. I believe each band can serve a purpose regardless of your strength level. You can use each band with various exercises individually or create a progressive circuit by advancing to the next resistance level after #reps with a move.update: March 2019These bands continue to impress me with their durability, comfort and versatility having three available.Some days I use these simplying for warming up my hips, glutes, legs before doing some cardio or HIIT workout such as Insanity or Turbofire.These can amp up a leg day in many ways even if it’s just light band while using weights you will feel the difference immediately.
