The instructions say to use a manual choke when starting cold with the recoil starter, but there is no manual choke. However. it only took three pulls to start it in 34 degree weather without a choke. To switch to gasoline it says to "turn the fuel valve to the open position" then to turn the fuel selector switch to gasoline, but there is no "fuel valve" unless they are talking about your gas can and assuming it has one. Also, the Quick Start Guide says that to shutdown you "put the engine run/stop switch in the Run position and pull choke, but there is no such button nor a choke. I also looked for the gas drain "valve" mentioned before realizing it is really only a screw. It was very difficult to plug the battery cables together (very tight fit). However, but it ran well on both gas and propane and switched well without hiccup. So I give it a 5 for the generator, but only four on the instructions.

I bought this for my Westinghouse 4500 generator. Listing says it is made for this generator. They are correct. It fits perfectly. If you need a cover for this generator, you will not be disappointed. Great quality and great fit. I highly recommend this product.

It arrived as advertised -- its a cover, there isn't much else to say. I will note that the packaging (not the shipping packaging, the actual product packaging) was already open and completely removed. If it wasn't such a hassle, I would return it.

I cannot attest to durability and longevity of this cover yet, but I do like it. It seems well enough made and fits my generator well, even w/the propane hose and regulator attached. My generator will not sit outside covered very much, but this should protect it from dirt, dust and moisture in my garage just fine. I would recommend this cover. If it lasts a long time, I will come back and upgrade my review to 5 stars.
