Perfect for DIY projects, additional innovations include a rotary bypass blade that stays sharp and never needs to be replaced, as well as a built-in smudge guard. The trimmer also features grid line measurements on both the top and bottom of the smudge guard, allowing you to move the 14” extended base deck to your left or right. A convenient folding design allows it to take up less space during storage and transport, while an anti-wear veneer surface provides long-lasting performance.

This trimmer is a little costly put I was tired of constantly replacing my trimmer blades. I do a lot of paper crafting and the blades don't last very long and are not cheap. This sharpens itself.

I was told and I believe its listing either here or on Fiskar says it will cut medium chipboard. Not happening, won't even move, no matter how hard you push.Light chipboard, it goes but that you have to push. Will cut 80-90 pound cardstock. It gets a little touch on 100-110-120 pound cardstock. Don't think for the money it is worth it. Doesn't do enough.

There is no guide wire!! How are you going to charge this much money for a trimmer that you can't even tell where you're cutting??? I wanted to love this trimmer... but I hate it and am returning it! The blade is AMAZING!! I have NEVER been able to cut such a small sliver of paper without tearing it before this cutter.... BUT when you have to GUESS where it is going to cut that is just NOT okay! They just need to add a guide wire!! I'm SO DISAPPOINTED!

only thing i dont like is the paper on the other side of the blade gets a crinkled edge. if you want to cut something in half you have to make an extra cut to clean the other side up. other then that its accurate and easy to use.

I am a card maker and crafter in general, cuts are required to be extremely smooth, unfortunately it did not achieve that. Was surprisingly disappointed

I bought it so I could cut more sheets of paper instead of one at a time. It does ok but I already had another Fiskar that was doing the job of this one. It is also expensive. .

I cut a lot without using a measurement. Sometimes I just want a piece cut at a certain place…it’s hard to do this when you must line up perfectly with the blade. As far as with measurements that works great, unless you have a measurement where the fold is, then it’s all guess work as there isn’t any measurements there. The cutting is good and it will cut through a few pieces of paper at once, not too many. I wanted it more for the self sharpening no need to replace the blade option. So I’m 50/50 on it and wouldn’t purchase it again given the choice.
