It works like it should. The ends are a tiny bit sharp which could possibly hurt a fish so I kept cucumber on the ends just in case.

Product works well is easy to use and the bottom feeders enjoy the treats, especially zucchini. The Pleco is a more active eater and devoured the zucchini pictured on the right.
