These definitely are better than the disposable fish filters. They are easy to clean and reuse and save you a lot of money in the long run!We have been using these for our 55 gallon fish tank for over 10 years now!

I have been purchasing MyfatBoss fish tank filters for years. They are high quality, priced very well and do the job as described. I have a 55 gallon aquarium with two filter pumps and the filters are more than adequate to do the job. If it works, there's no need to fix it and I will continue to use this particular brand.

My local Walmart always ran out of these when I needed them most. I can order them online and keep them in stock.

These are decent, I purchased a new filter for my 40 gallon goldfish tank because I had an internal filter before that was not keeping up with the amount of waste my five 3" goldfish were producing and it was a total pain to take out and clean and I had to do it at least every two weeks. I'm not a huge fan of using disposable filters but I've found I can rinse these out and reuse them so I'm thrilled about that since they seem to need to be changed weekly. When I take them out they are filled with a ton of slimy gunk so I soak them in a bucket and then use my hands and fingers to scrub the filters out which I don't really mind since I'm a mom and I've dealt with much grosser things than goldfish poop. Then i use the gross bucket water to water my plants :) They are a great value if you reuse them, I've only opened 2 of the 10 in the two or three months I've had them since I just wash them out really well and reuse them. My photo shows a new one compared to a rinsed out one I will reuse. I think the two I have in circulation should last a few more months until I have to junk them but i will be dissembling them and recycling the plastic part because i hate single use plastics going in a landfill forever. They would probably work better and last even longer if your fish aren't huge filthy 3 inch fatties like mine.
