I LIKE THE GRILLER BUT THE WAY IT LOCKS TOGETHER IS KIND OF DUMB YOU NEED TO SLIDE A METTAL CLASP OVER THE ONE SIDE THAT OPENS THIS IS FINE WHEN YOU ADD THE HOTDOGS OR FISH BUT LETS SAY YOU WANT TO LET THEM OUT AND ADD MORE THAT HOT CLASP ISNT TOO EASY TO MOVE WITH OVEN MIT ON AND DOING IT WITH BARE HANDS YEAH I DONT THINK SO YOU HAVE TO WAIT A BIT BUT THE MORE ITEMS THAT NEED COOKING THAT NEED THAT GRILLER THAT YOU HAVE WASTES YOUR CHARCOIL CANT JUST WASTE IT WITH THE COST OF EVERYTHING GOING UP ITS NOT LONG YOU NEED TO WAIT BUT SHOULD BE ABLE TO UNLOCK IT DUMP IT OUT AND KEEP GRILLING OTHER THAN THAT ITS OK TIME WILL TELL WITH DURABILITY BUT NOW ITS OK

This July 4th I decided to grille salmon, shrimp, and an assortment of vegetables for two people. I got the basket the day before, so immediately realized the dimension were not what the upper description said that included the handle and meant the actual grille basket cooking area was only about 11.5 by 7.5 inches and would be really crowded. But all of them for sale were small at about this size as listed! I managed to crowd everything on the grille by grilling only half my vegetables and shrimp. If I had two of these it would have been perfect.As far as the grille basket it was great with nothing trying to slip through, sturdy, long handle, able to flip safely without food sliding around, and easy to clean. It handled the salmon and shrimp perfectly. The broccoli sliced in half was a little thick for the space but the basket still closed fine. Just buy two.

The handle looks like it’s wood, but when i used this, the half inch closest to the basket got a little melty. Also, the metal frame supporting the handle conducted heat, making the handle too hot. One other thing, the handle barely seemed strong enough to support the basket with a 3 pound piece of fish. It needed me to use a potholder to hold the handle, and another to support the weight of the basket.
