These brackets are well made and sturdy. Just supply some 2x4 material (and potentially have a saw handy) and you can easily build some firewood storage that meets your needs exactly.

For some reason, the kit has the verticals on the outside of the horizontals, which I think is not a good design. Others I have have the same distance for the horizontals, but the verticals are on the inside. That being said, the awful crosspiece brackets are too long to attach to the verticals. What an asinine move. You can attach, but they stick out past the wood, which you know you are going to walk past it and catch your clothes and rip them. Bottom is not even. Horizontal are above verticals, so if you put on cinder blocks, there is nothing supporting the horizontal, where all the weight will be. This goes back.

I love controlling the size.format with the lumber length. Worked perfectly for my needs.

well made and sturdy, the holes that the 2 x 4's are pretty exact so if you have new treated wood that's wet they might not fit easily as was the case when i put the rack together. I needed a hammer to slide the 2 x 4's into the holes slotted for them. All else was easy as all the screws you need to secure the 2 x 4's are includes.

All went together as shown in the instructions. Set up the fire logs on it and it looks great. I hope to get at least 5 -7 years out of this rack.I do recommend tha the directions be a little more specific and show you how to place the screws into the long 2*4 (it required laying the ends on their sides to enable me to drive the screws in).
