Fires were raging in Palisades California and my brother's widowed wife kept calling me asking what she should have in her Go Bag. "Clean panties," I would say and she would bust out laughing. But her predicament made me realize I needed a fireproof go bag for my damn self. So scoured the internet. Did hours of research. Excel spreadsheets and then just happened upon this bag. "It's cheap," I said to myself. So I got it. Holy Go Bag Batman! This was way better than I was expecting. All kinds of cool pockets and Trapper Keeper type separators. This fit all my essentials - passport, home deed, car title, home mortgage/inspection paperwork/photos, social, tax records, etc. - everything easily. I had a bunch of space leftover and so put all my photography SD cards in it along with my wallet sized SSD 1TB backup photo hard drive in it. Still had space so I threw in some gold foil Magnums. I mean, you know, just in case.

Ordered about 15 of these for our travelling team. Keeps all of our items organised and keeps the dirt out!!! The outside material does get dirty quickly since its a little tacky feeling, but thats due to it being fireproof and nothing a clorox wipe wont fix!

okay for keeping the kids out of your business or a deterrent to someone that wanted an intrusion to go undetected. but this thing can be cut open with a good knife or simply carried off by thief. anyway really how hard is it to break open a zipper?

I got this specifically for travel. We spend a lot of time on the road either driving to our location or pulling our travel trailer. I usually take a heavy solid fire box, but it is just too bulky. This box will hold the critical items we need for our travels and can be easily grabbed in an emergency. I am suspect of the actual fireproof rating, but I think it would still serve the purpose if needed. I like that it is easy to carry and easy to store.
