I just received this today. I love the material and the design.However, they sent the wrong manual. They sent a manual for a Vinyl Record case instead of this safe.I will now have to look up the correct manual. Ugh.

This fireproof and waterproof file box is just what we wanted to store our most important documents in the case of an emergency. The box itself is a very tightly woven and coated material offering fire protection up to 2,000 degrees. The file box has enough space to keep all of our important documents organized and ready to go in the event of an emergency. Note that you do have to provide your own files for use in this unit. The zippers slide easily and are part of its unique combination locking system which is very easy to use. The numbers on the combination lock are very easy to see too. We are very happy with this file box which has ample room for all of our important document at the ready! Grab the handle and go! We highly recommend getting one just in case!

Not sure what the point of this is. It would be super easy to cut the very thin bottom.

Durable enough as a buildable and collapsible box.Travelable and fireproof are extra benefits.You could put items that would fit inside of it. (Stuffie, even bread and cheese picnic.)It doesn’t seem like it could hold concentrated weight (like a gallon of milk) or the handle might break off.I changed the lock three different times and was able to find the grooves with the flashlight in order to change the lock back to my original code like the instructions said.Simple lock-up is functional.You can use one hand to attach each zipper end, then close the lock.You don’t have to use a code to close the zippers.Zipper and files can’t be useable/closeable at the same time.The zipper can fold away over the outside edges and the lid folds back if you aren’t using them and want to keep the file box open.

This box took 2 minutes to assemble, and is extremely intuitive. I like that there's a zippered pocket that smaller things like passports can be in, or even some cash. The hanging file component is genius and fits a standard file folder perfectly. There's a little manual explaining how to lock the box with your custom combination, which I appreciate too. It's lightweight and overall very nice. For insulation against fire I'm assuming it's fiberglass so I do suggest running a bit of packing tape over the outside because some of those fibers were stray in my purchase, mostly around the seams (which makes sense logically) but being from a farm family(where field posts are made with fiberglass), I can tell you you don't want to get any of those fibers on your skin, but once I removed them it's fine. And the point of this box is to offer firepoof feautures and fiberglass is an integral part of that!

This fireproof file box is a great way to keep important documents safe and organized. We have one of those metal home safes, it is half the size of this box and too heavy to lift; this file box has the same benefits as the metal safe, but is light enough to be portable! I love how spacious it is and that it has a combination lock for added security. It is a high-quality product with a collapsible design that makes it easy assemble for use and breakdown to store when not in use. My job often requires me to take sensitive client documents home from work, and this boxes security features have given me an increased peace of mind on those days when I need to make a 10-minute stop at the grocery store on the way home.PROS:- Fireproof and water-resistant- Spacious and portable- Combination lock for securityCONS:- A little bulky

I appreciate that it can be folded up when not in use. It is generously-sized, so can hold a lot of hanging files. The combination lock for the zippers is an interesting addition. I guess it will deter casually-nosey people, but zippers are notoriously easy to slip open! I'm unsure how water of fireproof this file box would prove to be. While the box fabric may be water and fire proof, the zipper is neither. Additionally, though the box fabric may be fireproof, it doesn't insulate the contents from radiant heat exposure. So, this is great as a lightweight file box, but it will not protect the contents from fire or flood.

Nice roomy box size for important documents. Locks if you want it to and can label in an outer window. There's no label included so you have to make your own but thats not hard at all and you'll pretty much know what its for anyway I suspect. It's hard to know if an item is fireproof as the seller claims without putting it through a fire but what I've done is taken several "fireproof" zippered document envelopes and zippered folios/notebooks and put them inside this box - I figure with all the extra protection I can have a little more peace of mind. There is a nice stable handle on the top and the bottom has 4 "feet" so it doesn't just sit on the floor or surface you sit it on. Inside you have a stabilizer cloth covered board that flattens out the base. It can fold up to about 2-3 inches thick if you aren't using it and want to store it without taking up much space.
