I didn't expect great security with a zipper lock, but it doesn't even do that job. You can unlock it at any time by pressing the unlock button while tugging the zipper. Not waterproof as advertised. A light drizzle on the zipper, and your documents will get soaked. I'd hate to see what the "fireproof" claim is like.This does NOT deliver what is advertised. Avoid!

We recently bought this after the series of wildfires in California. We wanted to have all our documents ready to go in a go-bag in case of an evacuation. The 11.4"x14.6" size is just perfect BUT since we like to keep a lot of documents, I think a 7-8" thickness would have been better instead of 4". The quality is okay, not bad and not great either. For the price, I really can't expect it to be fireproof. It is just an organizer bag for me. So, make sure to get a real fireproof SAFE and put this bag inside it. That way you will have peace of mind in case you are away from home.What could be better? I have some suggestions. Please have another style with 8" thickness so it can hold more papers but you also need to make it more sturdy so it can handle the extra weight. This will cost more of course. Put an adjustable shoulder strap too to make it easier to carry in addition to the handle. Or maybe perhaps make it a backpack style.Overall, it's a good organizer bag for the price that we paid for compared to other similar items that were almost double the price. I am still happy with this bag but will need to buy another one for the other documents that can't fit in the bag.

How to know it it will stand up unless u test it. Remember to write down the combination somewhere safe. But anyone can just pierce this item until they can extract ur belongings. So keep this outta sight so you don't tempt anyone

Im using this locking bag to store important documents for my son in the event I should die. I want him to have easy access to everything he will need immediately upon my demise the bag says it is leather but in fact it is a faux material. The lock is a little awkward to open but the storage capacity is pretty large. I wouldnt say its sturdy or of great quality for the money but it is serving the purpose I intended it to serve for me personally. Would I purchase again? NO I would find a better quality of genuine leather or a hard case variety. I highly doube this is wateproof but most likely water resistant instead since the zipper will allow water in eventually.
