ACTUAL HOUSE FIRE TESTING CONDUCTED BY FIREFIGHTERS
To give you peace of mind, we conducted a house fire simulation (ARFFS FIRE training facility - water-resistant, direct flame and radiant heat testing over a 30 minute time frame - 05/27/20) where we exposed the bag to direct flame, radiant heat and water. After being exposed to this harsh environment, our test documents inside the bag survived.
We also conducted an independent vertical burn test (tested by SGS, 60 second UL 94 test, report number: SHIN1910070541MR - 10/17/19) on our bag material, and it passed the global flammability standards as set by laboratories in the USA.

TWO LAYER FIREPROOF & WATER-RESISTANT MATERIAL
The outer layer of our fireproof storage bag for documents is made from a liquid silicone coated fireproof cloth. It has been rigorously tested both in the laboratory and in a simulated house fire.
The inner layer is constructed from a PVC coated fibreglass cloth which gives the bag water-resistant qualities to keep your items dry.
Together, these two layers combine to withstand temperatures of 1,100° F + which helps protect your important documents and give you peace of mind.

I really like this fireproof bag. I've had it for a while and place things inside if it/take things out routinely. The Velcro is still just as sturdy as the first time I used it. The zipper is sturdy and the bag itself is relatively large. You can easily fit full sheets of paper in it without folding it.I have two hours al sized books in mine and there is still plenty of room for all the other things I keep in it.I also really like that you can hang this up. I utilize the hanging strap and keep it on a hanger I. My closet, which makes it more discreet.I'd recommend this to anyone, especially if you want to protect things that you may have to access relatively often- like a birth certificate, college transcript, or even just something that is special to you.

I am very pleased with the quality of this envelope. It is also a good size for storage of all my important papers. Hopefully, I'll never have need to test it's fire proof or water proof claims; however, I feel confident it will hold up under those conditions.

I purchased this for my travel documents on a recent cruise. It was great having everything in one place and knowing it was secured and easy to find. The case is very durable and convenient with the large zipper opening. The yellow reflective strips are also nice because the bag stands out and is easy to find among the chaos of packing and unpacking.

I was surprised by the materials used and the attention to detail that makes this an affordable and easy solution to keeping documents safe in the event of a fire.I was humbled by the strength required to open this up! The Velcro has to be the strongest type I have encountered to date!Hopefully I won’t have to submit how it did !I’ll bet our Firefighters would love to test one and see the results!

The fireproof bag.looks like exactly what I wanted. It is very sturdy and durable but I am not going to “test” it for fire and water resistance - I am going to have to trust that it will perform as advertised.
