I was impressed at the way it was welded and the use of tubular steel instead of rods. However 17" l X 13" wide is small compared to the one I replaced (24 L X 20" wide). I kept it and just build a smaller fire. It is about 4" high which is not high enough to place a 3 hour fire log under it to keep a study burn. I work around that and it works fine, just next time I will order it a bit larger.

Decent, heavy weight, seems durable. We returned because husband decided he wanted something a little longer and taller to hold more wood. We bought the 24 inch.
