Great glider. The cambered airfoil fuselage shape is a good indication that the designers know about aircraft- not just toys. To adjust the elevation, you warp the fuselage instead of setting a horizontal stab. Likewise warp the wing for roll control. It's very durable. It hasn't dented, just bounces off of houses and the ground. MUCH more durable than the styrofoam (EPS) Sky Raider. A bit heavier too- so put your arm into it and it will go farther. I don't have to worry about launching it hard and leaving the wings behind or the tail falling out. My estimate on a good straight flight was around 100'. Packaging is a printed cereal box and a single sheet of pictorial instructions. Mine arrived perfectly fine.

Well, I rolled the dice on this one after reading thru the reviews, and my dice roll came up snake eyes. This plane is typical of what you would expect to receive when you see the "made in China" label on the package. Pure garbage, not even worth taking out of the box.My 3 yr old son loves for us to fly the large foam gliders, so I thought if I bought him a smaller one he would have an easier time handling it and it would be a lot of of fun for him. Well, our first afternoon playing with it after taking it out of the box the fuesalage just snapped in half right back where the tail connects to the main body of the plane. That's it, all I did was throw the plane, it didn't hit anything other than air.Unknowingly my son's Grandmother purchased a very similar plane from this same company that has lights built into the wings and the body of the plane. Guess what ? My son did not even make it outside with the lighted plane when it broke in the very same spot. In a nutshell, don't waste your money on this plane, it's garbage.

I watched my family fly this plane. It looked way fun (I was inside with a newborn baby). Unfortunately, it hardly lasted 2 days because my two oldest fought over it and then it broke. My husband said it was fun while it lasted though and flew great. I gave this to my husband for Christmas. Shh... I might even give this to him again for his birthday!

This is the best glider I've used since it seems to be made of a rubberized styrofoam that makes it super durable. When this glider hits the driveway or sidewalk, it literally just bounces off it (unlike other styrofoam gliders that either break or leave a styrofoam trail behind that eventually causes the plane to fall apart). After a full day of use, this plane only had a few superficial scrapes from the driveway and sidewalk, but no real damage or breaks. This is a great plane, and I'm buying a spare in case the kids step or fall on it while running to get it, or it ends up in a tree since it flies so high!

It flies well, and my family enjoys playing with it. Although it does have sturdy construction and bounces off the ground, it is still breakable when hitting foreign objects. Luckily it is also easily fixable with strong glue. Was ready to fly again, as good as new once the glue dried.

Been an avid r/c fixed and rotary wing and many other types of model aircraft for apps 30 yrs. For a kid, this plane is flat outstanding. VERY durable, surprisingly good flight characteristics and easily repairable. ANYONE complaining about its quality or other insipid whining needs to find a new hobby. All kids flying machines of any sort will break eventually. If built to withstand nearly anything they'd fly only like a rock would. This is a well done product.DougPS -Let"s review "broke": ALL model planes will eventually require repair. Go to your local hobby shop or here, and get a little bottle of FOAM SAFE MEDIUM CYANOACRYLIC GLUE. Not the bs 'super glue'. Dont glue your fingets together ! If you do acetone ot nail polish remover will do the job .Its way, way lighter than epoxy or Gorilla Glue, and repairs can last for even years. Much of the whining i read here would've been fixed in 5 minutes tops with this.

Pros: This is smaller than the four foot planes that you buy in the store. Because it is smaller, it is easier for the kids to throw and they can do more tricks (sideways loops, straight loops etc.)The foam is also more flexible then other foam planes. Since it is different foam, you don't have to worry about it breaking as easy. The flexible foam allows you to tilt the whole tail up or down or to curve the wings.Cons: Not many, you must fly it on a non-windy day, but you can't blame a foam airplane for the wind.Overall, it is more expensive than large hard foam airplanes, but I think it will last longer and is easier for smaller kids to throw. I would buy again.Update 12/6/2014 - It did break after alot of flights. I was happy enough to buy another as a Christmas gift. I ordered the V-Tail, but Amazon shipped me the "Original". I then initiated a return, worked with customer server for about 30 minutes, and then received the "Original" again. I believe the Item Name and the actual Product are transposed. Hope they fix it, but who knows. First time I have been unhappy with Amazon Customer service. I won't change the stars on the product because it is still pretty fun.

I've bought a few foam gliders like this over the years, but until this one, I never found one that held up like the one I had when I was a kid. This glider has lasted almost a year now, and we've played with it many times. It gets a bit dented up from all the use, but it still flies well. We even broke the tail by stepping on it, and I was able to tape it back together good as new. When this plane has a big crash - like a nose dive. It actually bounces pretty high. That in itself is worth the price of the glider. With a little practice, it flies at least 50 feet. Now if we can just convince our grumpy neighbor that it is ok if the plane lands in his vegetable garden once in a while, we will be all set.
