Obviously I can't speak to the functionality of the set until I use it, and thankfully, I haven't had a fire. But I want to share how pleased I am with the product I received. It looks to be good quality, and I admit to it being a small sigh of relief in light of the recent fires here in Los Angeles that I have started to protect myself.

My sub-par culinary skills have required me to always have a kitchen rated fire extinguisher or two on-hand and fully charged at all times. Thankfully I have never had to use one. However, should the time ever come, the thought of saturating my stove, top, food, and kitchen with harmful fire, suppression chemicals, although far better than the possible alternative, is something I find totally deplorable. When I saw this fire safety kit, I immediately realized that this would be a far better first line of defense. In the event of an unexpected stove, top flareup, all I would need to do is grab one of these fire blankets from its pouch and quickly throw it over the entire stove top to quickly smother the flames. And if flames were to ignite something nearby, I still have the option of suppressing them with one of my fire extinguishers.Of course, while all of this is going on, someone in my household is calling 911 to report the fire. Assuming my suppression efforts would be successful, I would still want to have a careful inspection of my premises by the trained eyes of professional firefighters so I would be assured that the situation was no longer volatile and dangerous. This set came with metal adhesive back hooks that are actually quite sturdy and are intended to hang these blanket pouches in a convenient and handy location. For me, I installed two of them inside cabinet doors located just across from my stove. I figure that this would be a good location for me to quickly access them while being able to keep far enough away from the stove top.The blankets are fireproof and reusable, and seem easy enough to clean, fold, and re-insert into their pouches so they are always ready should the unexpected occur again down the road. Also included in the kit are 4-KN 95 masks to protect against smoke and fumes, as well as a pair of fire/heat resistant gloves to protect your hands. I placed the masks and gloves in a drawer just above the cabinet where the blankets are hung.I think this is a good quality product that provides plenty peace of mind and is well worth it’s modest cost.

First Impressions of BRAVE HERO Fire Safety Kit | Kitchen Fire Blanket with Gloves & KN95 Masks | Fiberglass Fire Blankets Emergency For Home | Emergency Fire Blanket for Home and Kitchen | Fire Suppression Blanket 4-Pack⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5-stars✅ Non-toxic✅ Don't expire✅ Requires no maintenance✅ No moving parts to break✅ Safely practice using them with the entire family✅ Simple to use✅ No mess to clean up if used✅ Affordable and inexpensiveThis product could actually save your life! A set of 4 is so inexpensive that everyone can afford to have them! MUST HAVE.Before I ran across the listing for this product, I didn't even know that fire blankets for home were even available -- let alone so inexpensive. As soon as I saw them I knew that I needed to order a set.Growing up we always had a fire extinguisher in the kitchen, but to be honest, I was never confident that it would work or that I would be able to use it effectively should the need arise. The little gauge was always in the green, but as the years went on I always wondered if it would work when we needed it. After all, it had been hanging on the wall for as long as I could remember and it's not like we could actually practice with it without needing to recharge it or buy a new one. These blankets are 40" x 40" -- large enough to cover the entire top of most stoves even with pots and pans on the cooktop. The blankets are made of fiberglass, but I took them out of their containers and had no skin irritation at all. They don't feel anything like the fiberglass used for housing insulation. Just in case, the product kit did include a pair of gloves. I didn't find it necessary to use them, but people with sensitive skin might want to keep them around. These fire blankets are simple to use -- pull the tabs to release the blanket and place (don't throw) the blanket over the fire to smother the flames.I put the first two at opposite ends of my kitchen since the kitchen stove is one of the leading sources of ignition in house fires. I truly believe they are useful to have in locations other than the kitchen as well. Garages, grills, fireplaces, hot water furnace or any other location where there are open flames, high heat, or high electrical currents make perfect sense. Having one in the car is also something to consider -- basically any place where a small fire might get out of hand quickly.Am I going to get rid of my fire extinguishers? Absolutely not, but I can place a fire blanket in a lot of locations where an extinguisher doesn't make sense or might not be cost effective. This is a much cheaper supplement or alternative and the more tools available in an emergency, the better the chance of keeping a small annoyance from quickly becoming a life changing disaster. If over long term use, my feelings change about this product, I will update this review. Thanks for reading and hope this helps.
