I have a personal rule that any item that features deceptive advertising maxes out at two stars. This listing has tested whether I apply the rule or not. On the one hand, the pictures in the listing show a single, solid ring around the top of the spark screen, suggesting that it will arrive fully assembled as a single piece. On the other, it says that it's collapsible (it's not really, but more on that later) and shows the Allen wrench and screws. If I could give 2.5 stars, I'd probably opt for that. However, I'll be generous and go to 3 stars.So, assembly on this spark screen is absolutely terrible. It's 24 Allen screws that hold the 4 panels together. Getting them in and started isn't too bad, but the wrench they provide doesn't work very well with all of the angles of the spark screen, so it's going to be 8 fairly simple screws and 16 that you'll have to fuss with to get them tight. To add to this challenge, you'll need to be careful when tightening them down to do your best to minimize the gaps and offsets in the joints between the panels. There will still be spots that don't line up right, but you can make it as good as it can be if you work at it.Now, to that point of this being collapsible - You won't ever want to do that. Because of how hard it is to get all of those screws in and tight, you're never disassembling this again if you don't have to.As to actual function, the mesh appears to be decent stainless steel and the gaps are tight enough to work as a spark screen. I got the 19.5" screen and it does fit the corresponding size Solo Stove just fine, with plenty of wiggle room to make it easy to drop into place. I have some hesitation that the screen is going to hold up to extended large fires, but I'll see how that goes. And I absolutely do not like the lifting tools provided for removing the spark screen. A simple fire poker or a pair of leather fire gloves would be much better. I certainly don't feel like those tools provide any value to this purchase.Speaking of value, the price being asked for this spark screen is at least double what the quality feels like they should be charging. I feel like it's close to Solo Stove pricing but without the Solo Stove fit and finish. It'll be good enough for a fire in the dark, but it's not what I was hoping for what it costs.All in all, this one was a big battle with myself to decide between 2 and 3 stars. It certainly is not the "exquisite craftsmanship" promised in the listing at all. If this fails after multiple fires, I will come back and update this review. However, it will perform the basic function I got it for, and it does fit on the fire pit, so it'll sit at 3 stars for now.

After years of melting chairs and fabric from bits of wood sparks I finally broke down and looked into a fire screen for my Bonfire Solo Stove. When the screen arrived I was a little worried that it was going to be too small but realized that it comes in sections and you have to put it together which took about ten minutes. The cover is sturdy enough for its purpose and I used it the day I got it. It did its purpose of keeping those hot embers that pop and fly away from the wood trapped inside the pit. No more melted chairs or burnt clothing!!!

Note: the screen requires assembly. It comes in 4 “quarter pie” pieces that need to be screwed together with the included screws and Allen key tool. I’m removing 1 star because the metal has extremely sharp edges, so use caution assembling and handling. I filed the edges down just for peace of mind. An instruction sheet helpfully reminds you that the screen handles need to be assembled diagonal to each other- get that wrong and you will be disassembling and reassembling all over again. Assembly took about 15 minutes. Luckily the Allen key has a ball-type end on it, making it easier to use on the 90-degree angles. Once assembled, the screen is solid with no gaps to be concerned with. The kit includes 2 foldable removal tools that are finished in black but are already flaking (Probably not a big deal). The screen fits my Solo Bonfire 1 with no issues. I can’t confirm it’s really 304 stainless steel, but it needs to be at this price point.

I ordered this item for my 21" East Oak stove since the company has not come out with one yet. I am thankful that the demensions listed are true as it resulted in a good fit. Putting it together was a easy and I appreciate the high quality stainless steel screws that won't rust. The openings seem adequate but I will update on how well it hold sparks in after more use. My only disappointment is that it must be fully removed to add logs. I would have preferred the top opening. But it fits and that was what I needed.
