The firepot fits perfectly with the Pro 575 the hot rod and extension cable connect to the control board as expected. The issue is the hot rod does not get hot enough to ignite the pellets. I tried the supplied hot rod and the OEM one in the new firepot and both had the same issue. I don't know if its the thicker metal being used for this fire pot or the enamel coating but there is too much heat being absorbed by the firepot to get the pellets hot enough to ignite. I ordered an OEM one, swapped it out and the unit started on the first try. If you are willing to manually ignite your pellets, then this firepot works great! If you want the electric ignitor to work get the OEM one.

Original fire pit rotted out from excess use. Was getting smoke coming from my pellet hopper. Tried cleaning everything in the smoker, including the hopper and auger. Could not figure out why there was still smoke coming from hopper. Finally decided to try replacing the fire pot to see if that would resolve the problem, and it did. Bought this replacement and it’s a perfect fit with hardware included. Easy to install. Heavy duty and will last longer than original. Holds up well to extreme heat.

This product came to me defective. Everything seemed ok, not perfect but functional. Fit was ok. Although the igniter does get warm, it is not warm enough to start new crisp pellets on fire. Just a poor product. And yes, pellets, fuses etc have all been checked. Got no return shipping form, so, of course, I am stuck with this price of junk. Buyer beware!!!

I got the black enameled firepit because my original one rusted out so quick with Florida weather. I replaced it with the new pot and hotrod and it would not light. I had to take it apart again and put the old hot rod inside it and it then lite just fine. Please do not count on this hotrod because it will leave you without a grill on Christmas day. Stay “official” for your hotrod. The ask tray is a cool thought i have not seen if it works well yet.

Our Treager died and this set brought it back to life. The cost is very reasonable and the fit is perfect. Do not be deceived into thinking this is an easy fix. It is not. It takes time and you have to be a bit handy. But if you are willing to get your hands dirty you can revive your worn out Treager grill for a fraction of the cost of a new one.

The fire bowl fit perfectly in my Pit Boss 820 PS. And its porcelain coating should last quite a while compared to the original. The new ignitor included with the fire box works well and i have had no issues with it. As some others have reported, the screws provided did not fit my smoker (too small). Luckily, I was able to salvage the original screws by using a wire brush to clean them. Overall, an excellent value.
