Fire Brick Insulating Fire Bricks for Wood Stove Forge(Pack of 2) 2800F Rated FireBrick Clay Firebricks Replacement Insulation Fire Block for Grill Fireplace Fire Pit Kiln Pizza Oven (9"x4.5"x1.25")First impressions: Nice set of 2 bricks, ready to use. The bricks are not heavy, they are light for their size. The bricks have a bubbled appearance, the air bubbles reach the surface.Installation/setup: Use to line your kiln, forge, fireplace, or pizza oven.Final thoughts: I got these to line the bottom of my raku kiln, using them as a sort of a kiln shelf. The bricks are about the same size as each other and will work well, bridging a gap between fire bricks where I introduce the fire into the kiln. I place the artworks on these bricks and heat the kiln until the artworks glow then remove the lid and the art to introduce volatiles to enhance the surface and add special effects. This is the most incredible way to do ceramics and I love it. These bricks work just as I wanted, I like these and I’m glad I got them.⭐️1 star - I don't recommend it at all, poor quality.⭐️⭐️ 2 stars - I don't recommend it, it has multiple faults, or a very high price.⭐️⭐️⭐️ 3 stars - It's passable, It has some faults but the quality is ok for what it is.⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 4 stars - Product quite acceptable, it does what it promises.⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5 stars - Product that I totally recommend.

Arrived safe in a well packed box. Seem like good fire bricks, comparable to any others.

This set of two fire bricks came perfectly packaged for protection. They measure 4 1/2 inches in width, 9 inches in length and 1 1/4 inches in in thickness. They are white in color. They will be a huge asset for an outdoor firepit and cooking area project I am designing and building in the future. I am very satisfied with these wonderful products.

I got these fire bricks to add to the Frankenstein forge I'm building in the back yard. They stand up to heat ~1200F no problem. If you need fireproof bricks, these are them!

I am building a fireplace/pizza oven off our deck. Never built a fireplace or pizza oven before and never used concrete blocks with mortar. These firebricks are awesome! They were packed very well one was broken on small place on the corner. Not even a factor because I had to cut many of them. I used a total of 96 firebricks just in the fireplace. You can use a miter saw and you do not need a mortar/brick saw blade to cut these bricks! Not one brick chipped nor became jagged after being cut. Lower heat transfer than most firebricks. Lightweight and very strong! I am not using them for my pizza oven because I didn’t get a definite answer that these can be used in a food capacity, even though it somewhat states they can be used in the manufacture’s write up. These firebricks are making my fist time DIY fireplace/pizza oven quite easy. Once I put them under fire I will do an update review. I highly recommend these firebricks! They are more expensive than the clay firebricks but their durability is well worth it in my opinion.
