For the money, this screen is a good buy. It is pretty, seems well-made, was easy to assemble, and looks great. I'm glad I bought one with doors, because I can tell a difference in the heat output with the doors open. The only negative (and the reason for the 4 stars instead of 5) is that when the doors are opened, the whole screen tilts a bit toward the front. The weight of the doors makes it rock forward and there is not enough counter-weight to keep it balanced completely upright. It doesn't fall over or interfere with the function; it just rocks forward slightly. Otherwise, I'm very pleased and for the cost, it's worth it.

Nice design; no problems. Consider securing the edges to the wall, because the bottom feet are not large enough for good stability when adding wood through the front door. The manufacturer should make the feet larger.

I have been searching for 2 years for a fireplace screen and this one is BEYOND perfect! I wanted a simple design, doors, and most important for it to be flush to the fireplace. Our 1958 chimney is all masonry inside, no metal, so I couldn't use a magnetic enclosure. And our fireplace is an odd shape. This screen, when opened full, is the perfect size and it's flush!!!! We have 3 dogs, 3 cats and a marmoset monkey. Now all animals can be around the fire without me freaking out!!!

I absolutely love the look. It's beautiful. However, in the sturdiness scale, not so great. It doesn't stay firm against the wall and the magnets don't hold the door closed. I bought some U shaped brackets to attach to the bricks and they work beautifully.
