Product arrived exactly as it was described in the listing. I purchased this to use with my mountain bike that has SRAM hydraulic brakes. No issues with shipping or delivery. The item arrived undamged and not leaking all over like I half expected it to. Great product!

It’s not cheap per oz, but might be the best option for Mtn bikers since it’s about the cheapest bottle of DOT 5.1, and it shouldn’t be used after the first bleed session anyway. Like all brake fluids. I just buy another one for the next bleed. The fact that I boiled it is disconcerting. Yeah I was doing something stupid, but I assumed my lever wouldn’t go soft. Now it’s needs a bleed for real!

It’s compatible with SRAM brakes, and ships quickly, two automatic plusses. It is easy to use, especially filling syringes for bleeding. I’ve had to bleed both my SRAM equipped bikes and this has allowed me to get it bled correctly the first time.

Does exactly what was needed. Topped off my hydraulic brake fluid on my Hayes Dominion brakes. Great low cost options.

So most of you who are considering buying this probably know what I'm about to offer, but real quick for anyone who might need this info, and put very simply. You currently have 4 types of brake fluid (skipping DOT 2 because it's generally not used): DOT 3, DOT 4, DOT 5, and DOT 5.1. The odd man out among these, incompatible with the rest is the DOT 5 because it's silicon based, while the rest are all glycol-ether based. The others are compatible with each other (in case you're simply looking to top off the brake fluid), but the higher the better in that among other things, it can handle more heat (basically higher boiling point). Although be aware (sparing you the details) that with time, that boiling point goes down, which is why it's recommended to change your brake fluid at whatever regular interval your specific car's manual indicates (safe to say most people stretch that...).Simply put though, you NEED to consult your manual and look up if your car requires silicone based brake fluid. If so, stick only to DOT 5. If not, then stick only to one of the other options. Among those other options, DOT 4 really is sufficient for most, but DOT 5.1 is, at least at the time of my writing this, the top option as mentioned above. DOT 5 and DOT 5.1 actually have the same boiling point and such, the difference is simply the base therefore a matter of which is compatible to your vehicle. If you're upgrading from 3 to 4, or 4 to 5.1, or 3 to 5.1, to significantly get the most out of it, do a full flush, whether having your mechanic do it, or youtubing how to do it on your car yourself (this is much easier to do with a buddy). You'll need extra amount to do the brake fluid flush, so before ordering, read/view up on it for your specific care if you're going DIY on this. You don't want to be stuck without enough fluid, but at the same time please realize that once opened, it really has no shelf life, so any unused new fluid will be wasted.

Excellent DOT Fluid for my SRAM Red HRD setup on my road bike. I accidentally opened the hydraulic chamber while looking for my batteries under the hood...whoops.Anyway, this came in at a super affordable price and worked like a charm. Only needed about 50mL, but so far holds up fine braking at 30-35mph downhill. I haven't had the chance to test it at 40mph+ yet, but I'm sure it'll do the trick.

Good fluid, a bit expensive - for me at least. I ended up dumping most of it on the garage floor, trying to fill my syringes. Oh well. Next time I'd probably just go to Canadian tire and get a bottle of 5.1 there.

This worked well for my bike - seemed like the ideal size. Not too small, as I had issues with getting the back brake bled and had to use more than I thought I would. Not too huge, who wants a large container that will eventually go bad and you will have to try to dispose of.
