Are you looking for a tool to clean your chain, but you cannot find a quality tool in your budget? Look no further! I introduce to you... the Grunge Brush! Okay I'm done sounding like a commercial. This is just as good as those fancy tools that you see for like $40- $50 (for a quality one, not a cheap Chinese version that will last 2 seconds). It is somewhat difficult to get the chain in, but that tells me how well it's cleaning my chain! The brush on the end is perfect to clean you're cassette. Just spray some drivetrain cleaner on the cassette (not brakes unless you want to clean those too) and brush it then rinse with water.

There was a few brushes available but I chose finish line bc I like their products. This brush is heavy duty and bigger than I thought / see images. I’ve used it 1 time on a Chicago winter Salty greasy disgusting chain. Cleans well. Not perfect bc chain cleaning is always a mess. See pics of chain after cleaning and size compared to my foot. Most of the gunk was gone after a few cycles of soap and water.

Das Tool bekommt man sehr einfach über die Fahrradkette, es sitzt darauf gut eng an, so dass die Bürsten jederzeit die Kette berühren, wenn man die Kette, durch Pedalen drehen, hindurch zieht. So einfach und schnell habe ich die Fahrradkette mit keinem anderen Hilfsmittel bekommen, und ich habe schon vieles ausprobiert. Und die Bürste am anderen Ende (mit den langen Haaren) ist auch sehr praktisch zum reinigen von allen möglichen Teilen am Fahrrad.

The bristles are strong, but not too strong, and set up perfectly to get all over each chain link and down into the spaces of the cassette. Like any cleaning brush, it can fling some grime a bit, but that's to be expected for anyone who has cleaned anything with a brush before. For the price, this is excellent quality and does the job admirably. Feels like it will last a good while.

Works fine on the links or as a guest toothbrush, if your guest is the Jolly Green Giant. And I'm not kidding about the Jolly Green Giant because once you start using this brush you're going to wonder why you didn't spend a bit more money, get a Park Tool CG-2.3 Chain Gang Chain Cleaning System, which admittedly does a more complete job on the chain, and hand this off to the Giant. Well, I'll tell you why. Cause you're a cheap bas#*%d just like me. But at least this toothbrush does have the tickle feather on the end that does indeed get into the crevices of the cassette, front and rear derailleurs, derailleur pulley, and other bodily crevices should that be your pleasure. Look, it works fine, and just the fact that you're interested in cleaning your chain says a lot about the upstanding character you possess. And that's half the battle right there. Getting your chain clean, anyone can do that. But caring about it to the point of reading all you can about the various ways to accomplish your goal...That's character.

I love this brush! I don't know how people cannot like this device. I use it with my chain and it really cleans off all the tough debris. Of course, if you want your chain spotless then you have to use a degreaser and other cleaning products. That, however, is costly and takes a lot more time. I ride 3-4 times a week, sometimes more. The chain always needs to be maintained and once a week it should be thoroughly cleaned. This brush is perfect for after rides when you don't want to get crazy on scrubbing but want all the heavy filth to come off. It fits easily on the chain and is easy to hold while cranking the pedals to move the chain. It captures 3 sides of the chain and all that is needed is to reposition the device once to capture the last side. I personally think for the price, it does a great job. Plus, if you own an internal cleaner, you can use this for the 3 out of 4 cleanings to save on the different cleaning agents that are needed with it.

Prior to the Grunge Brush I just used a rag to clean my bicycle chain. In comparison, using the Grunge Brush is a simple way to provide a more though cleaning of the entire drivetrain. The process I used was found on a YouTube video:1/. Dip the three-sided nylon bristle short heads of the Grunge Brush in some citrus degreaser.2/. Press the head down on to the top of the chain.3/. Remove the Grunge Brush and go over the chain with a rag.I then repeat the steps one more time, after attaching the head of the Grunge Brush to the side of the chain. You can also use the three-head side of the Grunge Brush and a rag to clean the derailleur pulleys and front chainrings. The long nylon bristle end does a great job getting at the gunked up grime from inside the derailleur cage behind the pulleys, which are typically impossible to clean without removing the derailleur. It can be used to do a quick clean of the cogset and is more though than a using a rag or toothbrush. After cleaning, I let the drivetrain dry thoroughly before applying either a wet or dry lube.Overall using the Grunge Brush was a step above and provided a much more through cleaning than just using a rag. It's a good drivetrain maintenance tool to use, that does a good job without having to disassemble the drivetrain for a more thorough cleaning. One disadvantage is the handle is made of plastic, so not sure how long it will hold up in terms of durability.

This grunge brush works great! Before, I would use a regular old toothbrush and rag, brushing and wiping one side at a time to clean my GSXR750's chain. Ever since using the brush, I just can't clean my bikes chain again without the grunge brush. It reduced the cleaning time tremendously and really did a better job and left my chain cleaner (Obviously combined with chain cleaner). The brush has a pretty good handle also which lets me hold onto it steadily as I have it on the chain while spinning my rear wheel to move the chain. I highly recommend this grunge brush to any motorcycle owner looking to make their chain cleaning experience better, faster and more efficient!
