I read the reviews ahead of my purchase and was a bit worried about these locks. I found the installation and programming to be straight forward and easy. Installation was rapid and very straightforward. The instructions are poor but really are not required. If you can remove an old lock you can install this one. Functionality is great. I like all the features like auto locking and tones. They look and feel like quality locks. My only complaint is with the documentation. Very good value too.

Overall I'm happy with the product. We bought it for use on our basement door as a safety feature to keep our little ones from opening the door. It was easy to install. Probably took around 30 minutes and I am not a handy person by any means. I scanned my thumbprint to set up the fingerprint reader. It unlocks the door when any of my 10 finger prints are pressed against the reader. Not a big deal for us since we are just using the lock to protect our kids. The password function works perfectly. I am very happy this has a silent mode, which was easy to enable. The ability to switch between auto/manual lock is also a very nice feature and is easy to enable/disable.

Although it was easy to install, I was unable to program it in several attempts without the app attempting the manual methods offered. There are several features you should be aware of that were deal killers for me. First, the password requires 8-10 digits, with no option for shorter passwords, that makes using it like a pin code to open an interior office door overkill (although I never got the pin code opening to work). In order to program it you have two options...they recommend Tuya Smart App (who wants to send their fingerprints to China?) which is a very difficult app to use (I know this because I have suffered through many Tuya installs for home assistant and even with a computer account the mobile app would not let me log in unless I created a new account just for this lock). Quality was as expected, even nice, and I did love the feature of it having a physical key until I got the key in the package and realized it's one of those tiny non-standard keys so it's not something you can get a copy easily of if you want extra. Batteries were not included (4 AAA) and not being rechargable through the USB port means they will need replacing and it requires a screw to get to that looks easy to loose. Overall, not user friendly...this is going to be uninstalled and sent back. Probably fine for people that wants the security overkill and don't mind installing Chinese Apps but a time killer for home use.

Super cool door handle for my husband’s man cave! We were looking for something affordable and still stylish. The handle locks solid. Much better than the previous lock. The door doesn’t wiggle or budge at all when closed and locked. I wanted satin nickel and my husband wanted black, so we settled for this style. Does not come with batteries. Has light up key to pad that doesn’t light up until you touch the handle. App was easy to use to set up

Needed a door knob like this one as a security function for a closet door. To keep the average person out so nothing major. But overall it works as intended. It's pretty durable and looks clean with the screen and the actual doorknob. Pretty self explanatory to put together, it gives you directions but you can use your previous doorknob as a guide. The battery terminal needs 4 AAAs as well. All the parts were included so nothing was missing.The lock feature with the number pad was the feature I'm using and it has a good quality sound for pressing the buttons. Touch screen works as well, no issues. Setting up the password is easy too, provided the directions are in the manual. It also has a fingerprint password that you can use. I have no problems with it as well.Overall this item is really durable, looks clean and the security lock in itself works really well.
