I played flute as a child. I’m not sure what happened to it when I left home. This year, at age 76, I bought myself a flute for Christmas. Amamazingly enough I remember most of the fingerings, but I was having difficulty holding the flute because of my arthritic left hand. I took a few weeks to finally put the finger saddle in the right place for my hand, but once I did, it made a world of difference.

This great! Makes a difference when playing the flute a long time. I sometimes move it to my right hand thumb lol Easy to install and remove. My flute teacher told me these finger rests were made. Glad she did! Now I need a pinkie rest! Lol Thank you!

First of all, the picture is misleading. I thought I was getting both a finger and thumb saddle. No, just finger.On the other hand, I do absolutely love the finger saddle, makes my playing much easier.I wanted the thumb saddle too, but everyone complained it slipped. I tried the finger saddle for the thumb, perfect, then I got another finger saddle for my finger. Problem solved.

Brook Mays' picture is VERY misleading. I thought I was getting both a finger and a thumb saddle - not just the just finger saddle. I feel like I have been hustled out of a much-needed item. Save yourself the stress and order from a more reliable company!Plus, the finger saddle was damaged with scratches all over the front of it!

This item, and the thumb guide (which is on its way- I made a mistake and did not order them together) were recommended by my 9 yr old daughters band teacher. So far she seems happy.
