My magnet that is supposed to pick up 1000 pounds is not strong enough. my 350 pound magnet is stronger than this FINDMAG that is supposed to be rated at a 1000 poundsThis is bull crap I think the Magnet is countersinksd just a little below the side, so it does not pick up on flat surfaces as strong as it should. If they would like me to redact this or give them a better rating, they can send me a real magnet.I do like the box that it comes in the treble hook the gloves and the rope but as far as the magnet, I will give it less than one star.

This product comes with lots of good accessories and a high quality carrying case. It was great value for its cost and I cannot find any other magnets at this price that can compete. It locks on to metal and holds well, and it is easy to remove with the scraper tool that it comes with. I would recommend this magnet.

This is my first magnet fishing kit that I purchased, I've used my magnet a few times now and it works well for very light things like fishing lures and nails/screws. The magnet isn't very stong like it says it is. It couldn't even hold a 35 pound kettle bell but it could hold a 10 pound kettle bell. The magnet overall isn't that good but it works, it's chiping off the coating and rusting already. The gloves seem pretty good, maybe a bit low quality. The rope is good, very thick cord and it works well. The carabiners that came with it are ok but they seem like low quality. Overall review for this kit, I give it 3 stars. Good for a beginner but don't expect much on getting heavy things with the magnet.

This is good for a beginner like myself. Magna is pretty strong but not super strong. Enough to grab small objects. The rope is plenty long for throwing from a bank into a pond or river. It comes with a grappling hook which I have yet to use but I feel like I could pull lots of branches out of the pond. I digress. Gloves are a bonus

This is our second set, the first one wasn't attached well, but they replaced, and this one works awesome, there have been many hours of fun and laughter with this! My son and his friends love it!
