I thought all rare earth magnets were essentially the same, but these are weaker than usual. Still OK for my use, but...You've heard a lot about rare-earth metals in the news; china and russia are teh only countries with mines and China is making them harder to buy because of the tariff war. Well, rare earths are EXPENSIVE, and I think they're SKIMPING on the Neodymium, which makes the magnets weaker. Neodymium, Iron, and Boride, that is the recipe for all super strong magnets.

Accurate size, looks nice, great value. easy to remove, but it doesn’t hold much compared to other true N52 magnets.

I bought these for a 3D printed project. They work extremely well. In fact when I set two within two inches of each other preparing to glue them in place they would just attach to each other. If you used these for home made refrigerator magnets, you would not have to worry about them not holding up.

Great magnets at a good price. I use these in all sorts of crafts and they hold very well in a pull away direction. They are not as strong if you intend to use they to hold things that could slide. For example, if you put the magnet on a surface and try to pull it off, it is difficult (great grab). But if you slide it down a surface, it moves easily. So to use it to hold something on a refrigerator door for example, if the object has much weight it will most likely slide down the door.
