Maintenance

Does a great job for a great price. I have poured 60 agar plates so far with 0 contamination. Definitely recommend fot the hobbiest

People who are complaining haven't put a pre filter on the back which is absolutely necessary. Had it for 6 months and have had 0 contam from pouring agar, making transfers to inoculation of grain and media. Would buy again if they made a 4x2 or 4x4.

Product got to me on time which is great. Overall impressed with the quality of the product. However since I have started using it, I have had several project contaminate forcing me to start over from scratch(which tends to be a 2-3 week process - which is why I am now just getting to a review).I had a lot of airflow coming from one side more than the other so I decided to inspect the product further. Upon removing the filter, I found that it looks to have either been crushed while being placed into the screen. Both sides seem to be compromised(inside and outside). Hopefully I can get a new filter for this from the manufacturer or I guess I’ll have to spend 150$ on another.Other than that, the fan is relatively quiet and does seem to put out good air pressure. Unfortunately with this crushed filter, none of my projects are safe to perform with this equipment. The screening is good though on both sides and there don’t seem to be any bends in them so that’s a positive.
