I’m annoyed. I’m really really annoyed. I spent a fortune on the 45 dust extractor. I spent a small fortune on this tool and got the kit. I thought “hey… it’s a kit built as a system so of course the tool will have the required adapters to connect with the dust extractor!” This line of thinking is flawed. The hose and the dust system on the tool don’t work. Maybe if I buy the smaller $150 hose? I don’t know because I’m having a hard time finding information on what I need and the fact I’m livid isn’t helping.I’m extremely heated right now and will be taking a breather before I research wtf is up, what it will require to work, and whether I return the entire system or not because it’s a system that requires more extra parts to work. Still, I think potential customers deserve to see the raw reaction and to understand that what they’re getting may not fit their needs without spending even more money.I need and want a holistic system to deal with potential lead paint and other potential hazards an old house will have.

The features and accessories and ease of use are great, but when you are cutting away trim and moldings, its usually in an area where lighting isnt great, like a closet., inside furniture, etc. So you need a separate light to get an accurate cut. How did festool miss this.
