The Domino Trim Stop enables precise and repeatable mortise placement in ends of narrow workpieces, such as rails or spindles. Designed for material between 7/8 inch and 2-3/4 inch (22 mm and 70 mm) in width. Sides adjust independently for centered or off-center mortising. Attaches quickly and easily to the Festool Domino Joiner without the need for tools.

It is a Festool accessory, it is going to be exspensive, but the quality is worth the cost. This makes doing up face frames for case work a breeze because you do not have to mark every piece is they are all the same width.

For repeat end slots in uniform width face frames, this is great. A bit pricey for what it is, but never having to build another jig for this purpose makes it a worthwhile purchase. Full disclosure, I returned it, but only because I discovered I already had one included in the domino package I bought. I didn’t realize it until both arrived. If you bought the basic domino set, then you’ll want to add this to the case. It gets use.

I used this to join the side of a crib wall, thin slats using a 4mm domino. This worked great to repeatedly center on over 32 slats and was a gigantic time saver, definitely worth the cost.

qualità festool indiscutibile, accessorio di ottima fattura e precisione. si perde un attimo in più per centrare perfettamente il listello dato che necessita di impostare la regolazione su 2 diverse battue, la dx e la sx. con un paio di prove su pezzi di scarto poi si lavora alla grande e in modo veloce.accessorio utile per chi ha il domino df700

I use this attachment when cutting domino slots in narrow cross members for face frames. It is a big improvement over anything else I have tried when cutting these slots.
