I often have trouble reading tiny print even with my glasses. This can include thermostat settings etc. This is a sturdy, lightweight, clear instrument with good resolution. I need to buy a couple more to leave around in places I often need magnification.

It works fine. Wish I would have bought one with more zoom but the price was right and it works.

I like this magnifier. It's just the right size, it's light-weight, and the magnification is perfect.

At 72, no one told me how our eyes would need a magnifying tool, but I finally found a good one that's light weight. It projects well and I was happy to throw away my larger/heavier one. At first I though it was too small, but actually I would recommend this to any one, any age.

This mag isnt 30x by any means. Has a teeny tiny little circle on it that I guess is supposedly the 30x but people with visual issues sure cant see thru that at all~! The 10x is OK, my glass ones perform better, but....this one is pretty, very light as the lens is plastic and easy to tuck in a pocket when going shopping or out to eat so I can see menus and labels. If you need a light weight little mag to carry, this is it but just dont think its going to be 30x.
