The smaller concert-sized body is easy to maneuver in any playing position, with an articulate voice that’s great for fingerpicking. Its tuneful solid mahogany top, “Easy-To-Play” neck, and mahogany back and sides make the CC-60S a perfect choice for the beach, the patio or the coffeehouse.

Good guitar though it is slimmer than the last one I had. The last one broke and I had to buy a new one so I ordered the same model and it’s smaller but it still plays well. Also, somehow it put in an order for two guitars. I tried to cancel the order and correct it and it said that it corrected it for one Guitar but they ended up shipping me two guitars. I ended up having to pay for two guitars and now I have to figure out how to resell or ship back the other Guitar. So be careful when you are buying from this vendor because they do not have a way to correct the order after you Submit it.

Had been attempting to learn to play on a dreadnought. It was uncomfortable , I boutht this guitar and I am very plleased with the way it fits me and the way it sounds. It is a great looking guitar and very easy to hold and play.

I love the look and size of this guitar. However as a complete beginner I found the strings very tough on the fingers!

I did not order this guitar until around 1:30 am on Thursday, 7th May. The estimated delivery date was between 18th and 20th May (no later than 8 pm). Given that Friday 8th was a Bank Holiday (in UK), I was amazed when it arrived on the morning of Monday, 11th May, a full 7~9 days early. The packaging included a soft polystyrene type bag wrapper for the guitar itself, with airbags to keep it from jolting around, inside a box of two halves, inside another box of two halves. It was obviously adequate because straight out of the packaging, the guitar was in perfect tune and ready to play.As for the instrument, it is at least 15 years since I last touched a guitar and the playability is such that, within minutes, I was playing as best I could, given the long break. Only my out-of-practice fingers proved to be the obstacle to doing more. What an absolute delight to hold and play. The sound is gorgeous (at least, compared to some others I have had in the past). The finish is excellent - EXCEPT - I noticed one of the machine heads had some thin chroming and the base metal colour (a strange colour) is just about visible - but I have to look hard to see it. It is something I can live with. Everything else is in perfect condition. The action is superb, the neck is beautiful for even my rusty hand to navigate, the overall finish is gorgeous, the tone and volume are better than I anticipated. It's just a lovely little thing to have.I had originally been looking to buy a CD-60S (CD denotes Classic Dreadnought), after reading rave reviews. Not being a giant and only wanting something for home use, I then learned about the CC-60S (CC denotes Classic Concert). The smaller folk-shaped body is far more practical for me. The guitars have entirely identical specs, except body shape and size. The all-Mahogany body has an understated beauty about it and produces lovely tone.Perhaps my only query is that it was advertised as an FSR CC-60S. FSR denotes Fender Special Run, an alternative term for Limited Edition, as I understand. FSR can be used to describe just about anything Fender decide to drop into the market at any given time - maybe a different spec set of machine heads or even just coming from different factory than usual. However, nowhere on the instrument or packaging does it actually identify it as an FSR. Thus, I don't know if it is one or not. At the end of the day, it doesn't matter because I did not set out to buy an FSR, I just stumbled upon it at the same price while looking for a standard CC-60S.My overall experience is that I would not hesitate to buy from the same supplier again and that I would recommend the guitar whole-heartedly, especially for beginners or those who have not played for years. Having said that, I would not be surprised if it appears in some pro guitarists' collections.
