I am very happy with this Fender bullet truss rod replacement part. It fits perfectly in my 1976 Fender Jazz bass and it’s an identical replacement for this era of instrument. It works perfectly with 1/8 size Allen key and it has the correct threads to screw on.

Me gustó porque me sirvió para mí Stratocaster mexicana modelo 72 ya que está hueca y la llave Allen entra perfecto.Si funciona en guitarras mexicanas.

This fits perfectly on the JV Modified 60's Strat. It doesn't protrude as much as the vintage Strats, but it threaded right on and still looks good. I installed it mainly to standardize to the 1/8" hex wrench as needed for my other Strats as opposed to the 5mm that's needed for the stock JV truss rod nut. Cheers!

Wasn't right size for my guitar. My fault. Great customer support with returning!

Original trussrod nut was stripped with a bowed neck. Installing this with 2 washers straightened it out, even under string tension and heavily scalloped board. Quality replacement from Fender.

Original nut was lost. This was the only one that would work as a replacement, although it's so long that the cover plate will need modification to accommodate it. Not a big problem.

Bought this for a 1973 Jullian acoustic for which the truss rod nut was broken. I had to open the slot in the neck a little as this one was longer than the original. Out of the bag, this is a #10-32 thread (which means 0.19" diameter with 32 threads per inch). Unfortunately, the Japanese Jullian guitar uses 28 threads per inch. 28 threads per inch is very uncommon and you will not be able to find a truss rod nut with that thread pitch. I bought a 10-28 thread tap set and rethreaded this truss rod nut. It now threads on the truss rod and was able to get rid the up bow of the neck. The neck is almost perfectly flat now. You could even get a little back bow if wanted to.

Even though its a good quality replacement part...they should warm about that it not fit all fender basses (for example my fender jazz bass MIM)3 stars - no for quality nor anything aspect of the product itself, but for lack of information and accurate product descriptionThanks it just a cheap replacement!
