Love the function of this camera mount. I hate having to position it just right to set up before games. Being a coach, it's difficult to quickly get the camera mounted and positioned before gametime. That being said, it's not completely the fault of the mount, but rather that all my phones are larger and have limited positioning within the footprint of the frame. I have found that I've had issues with the camera mount loosening during games when the tension screw is on the bottom. Flipping the frame upside down has a better affect on the camera not coming loose due to ball strikes or weather during games. As such, i mount the phone to the holder "Upside down" of how it's shown in the instructions/pictures and have better luck. The chainlinks are normally not positioned perfectly or have warped due to ball strikes or climbing on most fields over time. I've found the clamping arms you need to be a little creative with in order to mount. The cameras on modern smartphones are larger and .5 lenses need more space between the links. I typically have to mount loosen the tensioners and adjust the entire rig around for around 1-2 minutes to get it dialed in just right between the chain links. The mount is very customizable on position, but you do have to finagle it every time.

This took under two minutes to set up. The piece is made of quality even the hardware. I set mine up like this however there is an extra piece so the camera can also sit sideways. When I ordered I was wondering if it would be of value but it definitely was. Just set it up and press start to video. The adjustable arms make it very convenient to attach to the fencing. You just can’t go wrong with this. Only one hiccup and that was one washer was missing but it didn’t even really need it.

So, I bought this and it did attach to a fence and did hold a camera and phone fine. However, I didn't like it as much as the NEEWER Fence Mount I purchased (it just didn't feel a sturdy... also the setup was much quicker on the NEEWER Fence Mount). This mount isn't bad, it just isn't as good as the other.Also, if you do purchase this, I recommend also getting a double ball mount to put on the fence mount (which you then put the camera on). It makes fine tuning the camera placement MUCH easier and quicker.

This fence mount holds a phone or go pro with ease. The fence took multiple wild pitches and fouls balls and the mount held its stability. I wish there was a bit more extension available since the camera lens is at the extreme edge of most smart phones. The knobs have rubber washers to give some grip to the knobs when tightening. Once you have it set, it should not move. Beats a tripod setup any day. As you can see from the picture it doesn’t quite get close enough to the fence, so you can see the fence in the frame. A wide angle lens should correct this. The reason is that the smart phone is not as thick as a go pro. Where this makes up for that, is the arm mounting function, that allows you to precision mount at the exact location you want. This arm mount function beats out the bungie cord versions since they can move a little.

I bought this to work with my Mevo camera. Since it says it works with Mevo in the title, I assumed it would. There are no mounts that are comparable with Mevo in the box. Only a cell phone mount. Very disappointed. Also no instructions on box or in box.
