Was linked for ford 302, does not quite fit. The diameter is right, but they are too long. had to grind them down about 1/4 inch. Not too bad, and overall work fine. All they do is center the heads.

Dowels are .040 too large on diameter and .125" too long. These parts were ordered for an AMC 304 V8 and once received, FEL-PRO customer service told me that these are for a Ford. The actual parts for the AMC have not been produced for several years. I modified one dowel to fit the AMC 304 V8. Make sure the parts you order will fit your vehicle.

I got the year wrong, so I could not use them. However that's not their fault, and since it looks like a good set of dowel pins I'm giving them 5 stars. Shipping wasn't too bad time wise either.

Arrived the day after I ordered. Perfect fit. Twice as tall as the original dowel pins on my '66 289, but not too tall -- fit the heads perfectly.
